Brunswick Women's Plaid Bowling Shoes

I am by no means an expert bowler, but my friends and I recently started bowling 1-2 times per week. I dislike rental shoes for a few reasons - they never fit right because they're unisex shoes, they're ugly, you just don't know what feet have been in them, and they don't breathe at all. These shoes fit right out of the box. I normally wear size 9 and the 9 I ordered was perfect. If you have a wider foot, it may feel too snug. They have arch support and padding on the tongue and around the ankle, which are things a rental never has. They're really cute, and I don't have to share them with strangers. I am very pleased so far with them. I cannot review their performance, unfortunately, as I have never previously owned my own bowling shoes and really don't have any kind of sliding technique for these to enhance or detract.

This was a very comfortable shoe but it runs big. When I tried to exchange it they didn't have my size. Was very sad. Hope to find it in my size again.

Great arch support and very comfortable. My approach is much better now since my old shoes were so far gone all I did was slide. These grip really well so you can stick the approach right before the foul, but I found that they work so well I had to adjust my starting point from releasing too early since I did not slide as far. As an added bonus, they glow under black-light so they look adorable during cosmic bowling!

These are a bit too tight and I'm hoping that they will loosen up after some use, but be warned. I wear a 11, ordered an 11, wishing I'd ordered a 11.5 or 12. At the lanes the Brunswick rentals I'm an 11. If returns were as easy as just running to the store to exchange them, I would. But since it's not, I'm going to wear thinner socks and hope they loosen up over time.Overall the quality and workmanship is WAY better than what I expected. Besides the heel and toe rubbing a bit due to the size issue, it was a comfortable shoe. Color was right on (hot pink-ish) and super cute. Would definitely buy again (but now know to order a 1/2 to full size up ;)

I bought these Brunswick Women's Plaid Bowling Shoes for my wife for her birthday. I was a little hesistant to purchase shoes on-line without trying them on, but decided to give it a try. They not only fitted perfectly, she loves them. She said if they weren't bowling shoes she would wear them all the time. These shoes not only look great, they are very well made and my wife is very happy with the purchase.

Love my new bowling shoes. Even more adorable in person than it shows in the picture. I thought the six was true to size. I wear a 7 and a half. That is what I ordered and it fits perfectly with a pair of socks. The shoes are so cute and look so much like a snazzy pair of sneakers that if I give up on bowling I will continue to wear them.. Saving money now on shoe rental, but don't know why they didn't improve my bowling score.

The size is a little smaller than normal size. My wife wears size 6.5 for all her shoes, but this shoe is a little smaller for her.

These shoes are very comfortable, seem true to size, and have the perfect amount of slide! Plus, super cute and a great price--can't be beat!
