I use these at the beginning of the school year for my kindergarteners. I don’t know them yet & they don’t know me. It often takes them days to realize I’m their teacher & yes, they have to come to school everyday. When they’re wearing their blue lanyard on the first day, I know they belong in my class. My colleagues all have different colors so we know. First day at recess, kid has a blue lanyard, I know he’s mine. If it’s red, the child is with my colleague etc. Great organization tactic. 4 stars because I don’t love the hook to attach them.
