Onedor Handmade Buffalo Horn and Sandalwood Hair Combs - Anti-Static Natural Scent Wooden Detangler (Fine Tooth)

I didn't expect to like this comb so much. What's so great about a comb, right? Well I guess I was expecting something lightweight, whittled from tree bark or something. What I received was a beautifully crafted sturdy comb. The perfectly spaced teeth glides through my beard and feels great. Beard grooming is new to me so I've just recently starting using/carrying combs. I've also started misplacing and replacing combs. Needless to say this is one comb I'll be especially mindful not to misplace or lose.

After I got Covid in 2019 I had a great deal of my hair fall out, so I got very particular about my hair once it started growing back in. After doing some reading as to boar bristle and other low damage types of hair care, I started looking for a bone brush and finally settled on this one. I have to say it is one of my favorite acquisitions now. I have never been able to just comb straight through my hair after waking up until I got this comb. The horn is sturdy and the handle is very smooth and well-made; it is hard to tell from pictures how sturdy something is but the comb is heavy and durable. I accidentally got the handle fully soaked in the sink, so much so that the wood turned black- it dried without cracking and is still as smooth as anything. The wood is fragrant but not strong. It reminds me of the combs my grandmother used to have. Glad I decided on this one!

For what it is, I think it is an absolute bargain! Very well made and works wonderfully. Gets my wet hair into position for the application of pomade or mouse. I would gladly buy it again.

Update - Feb. 3, 2026, I purchased another of the smaller pocket combs. Have a few of these smaller combs. Bought an extra for brief case. This one is thinner and not as heavy in the hand. Not thrilled with it, not sure if I received a comb that made it past the final inspection (if there is one) or they are now making them thinner and less sturdy? The other combs I bought are very well made. I like this set, enough that I have purchased 3 sets for various purposes and places! I have shorter medium hair and use a blower dryer with them. Each set had a oder from very slight to somewhat noticeable. The first set did have a strong “smell” some folks mention, however that is easily washed out with dawn and shampoo. It is the horn that smells. I have not had any of the horn teeth break (and feels good on my scalp) or have I noticed any cracking of the wood handles. I did observe one of the handles began to appear to dry out some. I used sesame oil and rubbed that into all of the wooden parts of the combs. That did the trick! I let it soak over night and wiped the excess off and have had zero issues. Note this will darken the color of the wood. The wood grain and colors are nice, one set was a blonde color! Very cool! They have been sturdy and have done a good job! I am very pleased with them.

This is a nice comb. People always ask me, "Is that your comb?". I say "Yep. That's why it's in my pocket.".

This definitely is a game changer. I have thick and course beard and it’s not easy to use just any comb. Since the bristles are spaced out it doesn’t pull on the hairs and it removes any tangles I my have leaving my beard feeling soft and fluff . I read some comments about it breaking. I haven’t had any issues with that. Currently going on 1 month of having it. It does have a strong smell but that’s to be expected from sandalwood. Definitely a good purchase.

Being 70 and having thinning hair at waist length, this comb is the answer. No tangles and really smooth. Just treats my long hair so gentle. I use Redken silky shampoo and have the hair now that I had as a teenager. This comb is a blessing to smooth soft silky hair. Thank you for this wonderful product. QUALITY ITEM, CLASS!

Beautifully crafted and the handle is just right. The cow horn comb's had a fishy odor when it met the water and I was shocked by the smell at first. But then I googled it and found that it's normal for real cow horn combs to have a smell, it's just that the seller should have stated it in advance so as not to cause any misunderstanding that it's the smell of chemicals.

Very comfortable to hold and use. Well made, good quality. Value for money!

For eighty years I suffered with static when combing hair. At last Im my declining years I have the answer…..a bone comb.
