Great decoys. The flocking on these decoys is really nice, giving them an amazing life like appearance out on the water. The flocking has also handled very well being banged around in my decoy bag. These decoys have definitely increased the number of birds that come into my decoy rig, especially black ducks. I liked them so much I wound up buying 2 more dozen so I would have spare decoys when the ones I'm using wear out. Can't go wrong with these decoys.

Had these now for 2 seasons. If you are tired of skiddish black ducks especially late season not working then these are the decoys for you. They are great! The look real and I have had 100% more success using them. I have used them in all types of hunting from open water to timber and they work great. All flocked decoys require a little care and caution when using but if you take care of them they will last and continue to look great. I am buying more for next year to replace some of mine that have gotten worn and I am going to buy the flocked full body's as well. Look no further for black duck decoys these are the best of the best!!!

These decoys are some of the best looking decoys out there. I keep them in slotted bags so the flocking stays in good shape. They stick out like crazy in your spread and definitely adds that variety of color you need!

Seriously these decoys look phenomenal on the water. You might even think it's a live duck if it catches some good motion. HOWEVER there is a poor seam and they fill with water..

I took a chance after seeing many reviews all over the internet that these avian-x black ducks can sometimes come in a jet black appearance and sure enough the batch I got are jet black. Small amounts of light brown in the tail. Not the overall dark brown in the images. Flocking was decent and didn’t notice any issues with that. Does this matter to the ducks when they are in the spread? Not sure as the season just started and haven’t noticed a difference yet so will update if needed. People have taken birds out with old tire decoys and wood planks so who knows. But just keep in mind these may be much darker than you expected.
