These are mostly metal, and the bits that aren't are a very rugged nylon type stuff. Some are louder than others, but all are loud enough. If you want to irritate the parents in your neighborhood and delight their kids, hand these out instead of candy this Halloween; you'll be a legend.

Because of the colorful designs, I assumed that these clickers were made of plastic and would not hold up under much use, but since there are 12 in the package, I ordered them anyway. The body of the clicker and the tongue are metal. Some of them are louder than others, and I like the loudest ones best. They are great for dog training and also for getting the attention of any group (not just children) without raising one's voice. One thing I like about these clickers is that they get everyone's attention, but it is nearly impossible for people to tell where the noise came from. This is useful if a meeting is getting contentious, and also great for occasional party jokes. Fun fact - if any of your friends went to Catholic school "with the sisters", these clickers will either make them a little crazy or very nostalgic for the good old days. WARNING -Do not give these to your children or anyone else's, unless you hate them. Hate the parents, that is, who will soon be driven mad. : )

Purchased an additional 48 clickers to use in a production. Of the additional 48 clickers, 12 did not work and or were so quiet that they could not be heard. Will be returning the 12 for replacement. Just hope this bag of 12 is as good as the first two I ordered.

I will be using these for bird training. And they were cheap enough I can give some to others who are training dogs.

I use these for clickers on a podcast for editing. It makes a sound that I can see in the waveform. This was an incredibly good deal for what it is. Clickers for any purpose really. I love that not all of them are the same volume so I can pick and choose which one to use.

Fully half of the most recent bag barely made any sound at all. The stamped metal piece that clicks is very inconsistent.

I have a special needs daughter that likes the clicking sound. They are very calming for her

They are super cute. There are about 3 or 4 in the package that did not click.

Garbage
