1027819 Dime Mini Multi-Tool Black

Such a gold little multitool. I have a grown up sized leatherman in the tool bag but this is great as it's always with me. It can turn its hand to plenty of tasks, and a sling as you realise it's only a little thjng that won't withstand crazy abuse it will serve you well. Its very small, no longer than a regular key, but if course fatter etc, but it doesn't feel bulky. Its also cheap. I used to have a the little alox victorinox, which was lovely, but I lost it and for the price that was a blow. This is cheap enough to not worry about too much. The tool set is well considered. I'd probably add a decent hacksaw blade rather than the box opener which feels a bit redundant with the real blade next to it (but not as redundant as the victorinox 'orange peeler!'). Im not sure what all the other reviews are talking about re the blade stiffness? Everything pops out really easily. 5* little key tool!

I have a few larger of the competitors tools dating back over 30yrs. This Gerber Dime was half the price of the aforementioned equivalent and what an amazing bit of kit. The engineering is fantastic considering its size, the pliers a must and you forget it’s in your pocket or on your keys until needed.

Very pocketable and useful, a bit too smal to comfortable use, blades and pliers good quality, a bit hard to open.

I've bought a few of these now. I mostly gift them to others with their Christmas presents birthday gifts. The all black one always goes down well. This multi tool is great value and has a good array of features. Build quality is good and the included tools are used by me on a daily basis. The package opener is a must for Amazon stuff. I have some seriously expensive knives and multi tools but this gets the most use. Probably because I don't care if I damage or lose it because I can replace it for about £20 depending on current pricing. A great value EDC tool at a very fair place (if it's a gift buy the all black one 🖤)

Gerber is always a good make. Great for the everyday things, box opening, needing to screw something in. Sharp and very lightweight. This will last a long time and has pretty decent functionality

This tool has a wide range of uses which is great for it's size. That said, its still a bit stiff compared to other tools so I prefer to reach for. Not able to use for anything too difficult. One half of the pliers broke (ive used other small sa tool pliers for the same task), one half shot off into the distance so sadly, mine has lost main functionality.

The small non-lockable blade makes this a great choice for EDC in the UK. Build quality is what you would expect from Gerber. Box opener is a great feature. I have used this daily for opening all sorts of boxes and packaging. The blade is still sharp! One improvement could be made in the pliers. They aren’t useful for much. Once you apply any sort of pressure, the jaws just slip and miss align.

1) It's very tight. I keep breaking my nails trying to get the tools out. 2) None of the cutting implements are very sharp. 3) The small screwdriver becomes thick very quickly up the handle, if that makes sense. So if your screw is in a hole, which a lot of small screws are, the driver is useless for no apparent reason. But, this is far cheeper than any of the compatible tools I've seen, and everything basically works, so I'd still say it's decent. The stiffness should get better with time (hopefully) and the cutting tools can be sharpened if it's really an issue.

This is the second one I bought. The first one got confiscated by TSA at the airport. Good quality, size is great, good value for the money. I'm even planning on buying some to give as gifts

De loin le meilleur mini multicolore à ce prix là... c’est mon deuxieme que j’ai pris pour le laisser en permanence dans mon sac de rando. Mon premier n'a aucun jeu, tous les outils fonctionnent à merveille, seule la peinture s'est usée...en 6 ans à l'avoir dans ma poche tous les jours, utilisation de la petite lame ( ouvrir enveloppe, colis,...), le décapsuleur de temps en temps, la pince à épiler, et bien sûr la pince utilisée une bonne 50ene de fois. Les autres outils peu ou pas servi. Le grand plus de ce mini tool est sa robustesse, la solidité de ses outils et le côté compact à un prix très honorable.

Well made. Fits well with car keys. Been very handy.
