After decades of messing around with store-bought coarse ground pepper, then "pretty" mill sets that looked good but turned grinding pepper into an aerobic exercise... I finally Googled "quality high volume pepper mill" & this little jewel showed up at a very reasonable price. The reviews were GREAT... and rightfully so. You are able to easily adjust the grind to just the coarseness you want, it only takes a few twists to give you a generous amount, it holds a boatload of peppercorns, is easy to fill, and - while not exactly an exquisite work of art - looks pretty darn good on the table next to the OXO salt mill (also a winner, btw). Ceramic grind mechanism, lifetime warranty. Highly recommended.

This is hands down the best peppermill I have ever owned. I love that you can adjust the grind so easily, and that there is container to catch the grinds so you can measure freshly ground pepper.

It's really easy to churn out a lot of pepper with this, and it adjusts from pretty fine powder to convincing coarse. It won't give you cracked pepper but that's ok, a couple of whacks in a mortar and pestle will do that. My only gripe is that the coarseness control is hidden with no meter marks, a situation exacerbated by the unmarked knob only stopping at the coarse end but not at the fine end (just continues to turn, which is expected behavior according to the seller answering my question on this site). But I'm enjoying using it and really like the optional cup on the bottom; no more grinding onto a folder paper towel. [Added Aug 12: the coarseness knob stopped working after just a few days of using the grinder; I'm expecting a replacement from Amazon tomorrow and will update this a few days later]

I got one of these pepper mills and I liked it so much I bought a second one to use with other spices. The second one I got stopped working after a while so I was kind of disappointed by that. However I decided to reach out to their customer service and they sent me a replacement unit. I highly recommend this if you use a lot of pepper. The mechanism works quickly and I appreciate the holding capacity of the container on the bottom, it's so useful when adding ground pepper while something is on the stove.

I've been looking a long time for a Peppermill that actually adjust to a fine grind, and this is it! Most of the others I ordered said they adjusted but still had large chunks of pepper in their "fine" grinds. This one doesn't – – it grinds to what you adjust it. In addition, it's sturdily made I'm decent looking. There's a detachable reservoir that keeps pepper off your counters, and can also be used to collect pepper for measuring in a recipe. Finally, it's easier to grind than most I have tried. The grinding mechanism is smooth and not too hard to turn, and you can use either hand to grind it. Overall, exactly what I was looking for.

This pepper mill functions extremely well. The knob is easy to turn, it has a container to contain the droppings or you can sprinkle them directly in your food. I love that the grind can be adjusted as I find some grinds do not give a fine grind. This is perfect. It is also very easy to fill and has a lifetime warranty . I would consider buying a second one to use as a salt mill too. Also very attractive and I would easily have this at the table . Very happy with this purchase.
