Pretty nice bowling shoes
I am very new to the bowling game but from a novice point of view these bowling shoes seemed to work great. I had been using the bowling lane shoes but I really don't like the idea for wearing shoes that someone else wore. Also, the lane shoes never really fit correctly because I have wide feet. I thought I would try these shoes due to the reasonable price. Other than being a little stiff the first night out the did the job great. They had plenty of slide for me. Although, I will say I am not a power hook bowler, so I didn't push that sliding aspect. So, I would recommend these shoes based on price, fit and slide features. The styling is also very nice with contrasting colors. They don't look like your Grandpa's Velcro strapped orthopedic white walking shoes. Not to mention that your feet aren't in patient zero's foot fungus breeding ground.just my thoughts.

Great fit, great look
I wore these for three games right out of the box. They were so comfortable, it felt like I had broke them in already. I wear a size 10, I ordered a size 10....perfect fit. My wife loved the modern look compared to my old pair.

Super comfy, and doesn't look like clown shoes.
Super comfy, and doesn't look like clown shoes. I don't know why bowling alleys make you wear those silly looking shoes, but these are great. Fits well, feels great, and looks good too.

Look at a different shoe
Very disappointed in these shoes. I purchased based on other reviews and look, but they definitely fall way short. They are extremely stiff and didn't slide at all for me. I returned these and picked up the Zig Zag from the same manufacturer (and only a few bucks more) and am VERY happy with them (see my review for those). I'm sure with time the Jack's would break in and be more flexible, but I want something that won't kill my feet after 2 games. They were so bad my feet began to cramp. On a plus side, I had no hot spots.

By the end of the first game they were getting comfortable, and after two games they felt great
I haven't bowled in years, and I still had the same shoes I bought 15 years ago. I ordered these because the old ones were literally falling apart, and I didn't know how many more times they would last. These were very stiff initially, but they started to soften up just a few frames in. By the end of the first game they were getting comfortable, and after two games they felt great. The arch is higher than I prefer, but I am flat footed, so that's almost every shoe. I was happy with the slide, too. I can't think of anything to complain about with these.

Shoes definitely meet my needs
I have had no problems with these shoes. Workmanship seems to be top notch. The laces extend a long way down the shoe, so I can adjust the tightness along virtually the entire length of the top of the foot for a good fit (good for people like me who have a fairly narrow foot).UPDATE (Oct 2015): Three years and a few THOUSAND games later (I practice bowling a LOT), these shoes are finally showing enough wear on the inside that I'm now ordering another pair of the same model, so they're ready when I finally decide to make the change. They've performed well, and remain comfortable.

I only attend a few charity bowling events a year, but wanted a pair of my own shoes that fit when I do. These are well made and look good, but be advised they are for people with very narrow feet. I have had wide feet my whole life, so I normally get a size or more bigger when a shoe doesn't come in my 4E width. These are quite narrow and I had to open the laces and shoe as far as it would go, but still my feet were cramped the whole time. I'm hoping I will eventually stretch these out with my Hobbit-like feet.

Great quality shoes!
Got these for my husband (who is a size 12.5 which is extremely hard to find)! He fits in a 12W or usually a 13 with no problem. He's only worn these once so far but says they are a little long for him... not sure if the 12s would fit so since he liked the style/design, this was his choice to go larger. He tied the laces a little tighter and didn't have any issues when we were bowling though! They will be fine for the handful of times we expect to go so we don't have to purchase $5 shoes each time! The quality of material and stitching is great, sure to last a while!
