Good upgrade

In reference to the reviews that say bolts are too short… the bolts are perfect it’s the sleeves that are about 1/4” too long. I ended up cutting the sleeves a quarter inch and install was easy. (By the way, my truck is a 2009 Chevy 2500HD Duramax with a 6” lift.) Pictured is a new bolt next to an old one, the new sleeves next to an old one, the new sleeves after they were cut and the entire setup after installed. This kit fits great, it’s made in the USA and is way cheaper here than anywhere else. No complaints here- I’ll buy this again in a heartbeat in another 150,000 miles.

I just installed these last weekend and am very pleased with them so far. At the same time I replaced the stabilizer, aka sway bar, bushings. The thermoplastic bushings are a great upgrade over the standard elastomeric bushings. These are similar to polyurethane bushings, except these supposedly don't need any grease to avoid squeaking. I didn't want to chance it and have them squeak, so I applied minimal high temperature silicone grease which aids in assembly even if it isn't needed to avoid squeaking. My only complaint is that the bolts could stand to be a little longer. They are about a quarter inch shorter than the stock end link bolts, and starting the nuts required loosening the stabilizer bushings almost completely to align everything well enough to start threading the nuts on. Once they were started, all went well. I tightened the bolts until about seven threads were showing. The nuts are oval type lock nut, so they shouldn't back off. I probably could have tightened them more, but the preload felt sufficient and I had the bushings fully seated when I started everything. I'll update this if I find they need adjusting in the future.

This product fit perfectly for what is was intended. Once you tighten the bolt you’ll end up with excess threads from the bolt sticking out the top. The metal sleeve from the factory part I removed was longer then this replacement, but still it went on easily. Nice product, price isn’t bad and easy install.

This Part is OEM!!Everyone saying that they had to cut the part to fit is wrong. Probably shouldn't be installing parts on your vehicle. If you can't get the part on take it to a mechanic!
