I’ve purchased these in the past and they tasted fine. This time, taste is way off. Checked the date and they expired two weeks ago (Aug 15). UPDATE - supplier reached out and offered a refund and asked me to give them another shot. I’d already tossed the expired sticks but went ahead and placed a new smaller order. The new item was good!

On a keto diet, these meat sticks type things are a great keto friendly "go to" item, for a snack or as part of a meal. This is, I think, the fourth brand of the basic "meat stick" now that I've tried, so I am comparing them to other brands I've ordered and eaten already. For my taste, these are just perfect. Some brands lean toward being hard to chew, almost like jerked beef, and some lean toward being mushy, almost like a raw hot dog. Like a Goldilocks tale, Nick's Sticks got it just right. Excellent texture on these, just a bit of chewiness without being tough. Outstanding flavor. Mine arrived fresh, a long expiry date, so plenty of time to eat them, but didn't have to worry about that because they were so tasty that they got gobbled up right quick. My only issue is that I wish they came in single packs. I tend to eat just one, but the double pack (and great taste!) makes it tempting to eat two obviously, and an extra step is needed to package up the spare one for next time. But, these are also the least expensive of the meat sticks on here, that I've tried, so maybe that's as a result of doubling up with two sticks in one wrapper. I do appreciate the savings and, not a big deal to toss the other one in a ziplock bag for later. Just not as simple, when on the road, or out and about, and nowhere to store the opened package. Good excuse to eat both, but then of course these don't last as long, going through two at a time. Perhaps that's the thinking behind this double package? Anyway, I love these, and will buy them again (already have!) so, very easy to recommend, but just know that they do come two in a package, a minor caveat. Hope this helps, thanks for reading. :)

When they’re not old they taste great! We’ve had the regular beef ones and these and both several times have looked old (light in color) and tasted gross and we end up just throwing away. I canceled my subscriptions and will just purchase in stores.

These sticks are great to stick in your bag and have for a snack on the go. I take them golfing and share one. 10 grams of protein and low calorie. I think no sugar added. I am getting a routine shipment every month. The spicy turkey are the best

I love these meat sticks when I purchase them in store. However, I will not purchase them online again. I have had these on subscribe and save but my last two deliveries came with expired beef sticks.

I really wanted to like these, but they are expensive and I don't care for the taste. I got these on a lightening deal, even still, it worked out to $1.33 each. The taste is a bit dry, spicy, but no other flavors. They are not greasy, and nutritionally not bad. They will be eaten, but I probably won't order these again. Great to take along for any type of outdoor activities for the easy to consume calories. If you are on the fence, try them out, I personally was not impressed by the flavor (but other reviewers did enjoy). I just recommend waiting for the lightening deal (I see them on there often) and pick up a batch.

Nick's Sticks are fantastic. They're my go to pre-workout protein. Amazon once made a mistake on my order and Nick's made it right with a generous gift. I highly recommend Nick's Sticks.

Product is full of flavour, nice and spicy 🌶️. Happy that it comes with 2 sticks per package. Impressed that it’s 100 percent Grassfed beef and no nitrites. Only thing it wasn’t easy to open.especially when you are out and about...you’ll need a scissor or pocket knife to open. Otherwise a very superb product…will for sure buy more of theses Nick Sticks! 👍👍👍
