INCREDIBLE PROTECTION FOR KNIVES AND FIREARMS
This is an amazing product. I have used it this product on my knives and pistols for many years. I had to purchase a new cloth as I "wore out" the previous one. I have a large collection of current and vintage pocket knives and fixed blades. People are asking asking to see my collection. The Marine TUF-Cloth keeps my knives brilliantly shiny and without fingerprints or corrosion. If you store your knives and/or firearms for any length of time, you can rest assured that they will look incredible with no corrosion, tarnishing, or dulling. If the cloth begins to "dry out," you can saturate it with Sentry Solutions Marine TUF-Glide or pure mineral spirits. For the best results, wipe the knife or firearm with the TUF-Cloth and "allow it to dry" (this is somewhat subjective. Then I buff the knife or firearm with a microfiber cloth. This product is supposed to be very effective in preventing rust and corrosion in extreme salty or damp conditions. For the protection of your knives and/or firearms, it is well worth it at any price. PROS 1. Very easy to use with no significant mess; just remember to wash your hands well after use. 2. Cleans and lubricates metals protecting against corrosion, especially in extreme conditions and long-term storage. 3. Prevents fingerprint damage, prevents moisture accumulation, especially in storage, and prevents rust in all treated places. 4. Keeps your knife or firearm with a brilliant shine and without any dulling or tarnishing. CONS 1. Essentially NONE. 2. Irritating to eyes or pets eyes/mouths if you do not wash your hands well after using.

Works better than advertised
Conversation with Gemini profile picture Can you improve this review Tuf- coth is a great product, I have been using it since 2005, it works on all kinds of conditions and provides great protection from the effects of oxidation Show drafts Here's an improved version of your Tuf-Cloth review: Strong Start: Instead of just saying "great product," mention a specific benefit you've experienced. For example: "Tuf-Cloth has been a lifesaver for protecting my tools and knives from rust." Details and Use Cases: Expand on "all kinds of conditions." Does it work well in saltwater environments? At high temperatures? Give an example of how you use it: "Since 2005, I've relied on Tuf-Cloth to keep my [knives/fishing gear/firearms] in top condition, whether I'm [camping/boating/hunting] in [humid/dry/salty] environments." Science it Up (Optional): Instead of just "oxidation," you could say: "Tuf-Cloth's protective barrier guards against rust and corrosion caused by oxidation." Conciseness: Combine the last two sentences for a tighter flow. Here's the improved review with these points incorporated: Tuf-Cloth has been a lifesaver for protecting my knives from rust. Since 2005, I've relied on it to keep them in top condition, whether I'm camping in humid environments or saltwater fishing. Tuf-Cloth's protective barrier guards against rust and corrosion caused by oxidation.

This is a fantastic product!!
This is one of the best products I have ever used for all of my rifles, pistols and shotguns! Though I have also used on my carbon based knife blades as well! This is because of the nano technology which is applied by using the Tuff Cloth adheres to the metal and not only gives your weapon that new weapon look, but also protects your expensive firearms surface from rust! I find it well worth the insignificant price of this compared to having to replace a weapon in which rust pits the surface, barrel or other internal parts which can be costly to be repaired that is IF you could have it repaired! As for my carbon based knives, Tuff Cloth also prevents rust and pitting due to rust from damaging your blade! Especially as my fixed blades knifes and even my pocket knives all cost several hundred dollars and that is for the less expensive blades. I believe in carrying only knives which I could perform whatever tasks needed in order to survive. As such, I have found that you get what you pay for! That goes for items through out life but more importantly when you purchase gear in which you purchase for survival! This is why I have been using Tuff Cloth ever since it has been sold to the everyday man! Trust me, You will not regret your purchase! There are two types of Tuff Cloth, the blue wrapped Tuff Cloth is for marine or in other words if items are being exposed to salt water. Then there is the red label which is your general Tuff Cloth. I use the Marine version as I live 15 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. So you could say that that salty sea water is in the air! And I have never had an issue with rust with any of my EDC or SHTF equipment! That is how I know this stuff works!!

Product came with a hole in the bag
There was a hole in the bag upon arrival. Has dried out quickly, but Amazon gave a refund. Was able to try the product before it dried, and seemed to be good for knives.

So far so good
I was intrigued after seeing some vets rave about this cloth on social media, so I decided to try it out- especially as the humidity is higher than ideal where I have some antiques. I wiped down about 25 pistols and about 15 or so long arms and it still seemed like I could keep going, but could probably use refreshed with some mineral spirits. It leaves a beautiful shiny coat on application, but that dries invisible. For now, I trust it's doing a better job of protecting things than the expensive oil I'd been using. It certainly seems to go a lot further for the price, so I'll recommend it.

Awesome Product
I carry my pistol in a hiked-up belly band holster a couple inches below my armpit, since carry at work is verboten. I have a physical job, so every day when I take it off, it is soaked with sweat. Since it does not have a finish that is very resistant to extreme conditions like some manufacturers use, I had to clean and re-oil it every day or two to keep the rust at a minimum, but even with this effort, it would always have some somewhere that I would have to remove with very fine steel wool. As soon as I got the Tuf Cloth, I did my usual cleaning and rust removal, and rubbed every part of the gun I could get to with this cloth. Whatever the chemical is, it works! There was ZERO rust on the weapon, even on the bare metal of the barrel, after weeks of daily wear in a sweaty, fat man's armpit. If you carry concealed anywhere that that your sweat may reach, and you like your gun, buy one of these. If any of your metal items are subjected to harsh conditions, buy one! There is plenty on the cloth to last for multiple applications on any number of items - guns, knives, whatever. Not that you'll need to reapply very often, though. Just to see how long a treatment would last, I wore the gun daily, and inspected it for rust, but did not clean it or repeat the treatment. After about a month, I noticed a little rust finally starting to form around the magazine release button. This area only got a cursory application since it is embedded in the plastic frame, so I suspect that proper application would stretch the time much longer.

Goodbye rust!
If you live in the south (or really anywhere with high humidity) you know that metal will rust, and it will rust QUICKLY! This cloth is the answer -- rub all exposed metal after you've handled a gun and it will never rust again. I do recommend wearing some nitrile gloves when you use it, because the smell is very potent and will stick on your hands even after you wash them. I don't own a boat, but I assume it would treat any metal parts on a boat as well as it treats gun metal. I bought an extra, so I keep one in my ammo can to use after I've fired my guns and another in my cleaning kit to use after I clean them. As long as you return it to the little plastic cup when you're done, it'll never dry out, so it's good forever.
