The shelf works great and even sits at an angle to make sure the shoes sit correct. The only downside would be that you really can’t put more then 1 row of a shoes on this grid.

Works well in closet floor

These shoe shelves work just fine and are fine for storing shoes but the flat shelves (these run down at an angle) would do the same job just as well. If you have kids and lots of shoes I find that the Gladiator "bin" holders (that hold large plastic bins) are a better option for shoes. If you don't have kids and plan to keep your shoes neat then these work well. Of course, if you decide not to use them for shoes down the road then they likely won't be good for anything else where as the flat shelves have many other uses.

I used a couple of leftover pieces of the wall units to hold the shoe rack. It holds 3 pairs of running shoes. It's a tiny bit wobbly but okay.

Will be getting a second

This works great, I have an extra large cabinet and ordered the mega org kit thru garageappeal.com, but amazon seems to have the misc things that are very helpful. We have a landing in our garage and always seems to accumulate shoes and always seems to need organization. with a couple of these shelves it give a little order and opens up space on the landing. well worth the price and along with other gladiator products makes the garage look awesome

Be aware that it is 30" wide. It didn't fit my space and only really holds 3 pairs of shoes (adult). That said it looks solid and well made. Would be great if they made it in a multi-level rack.

I've got quite a few of the Gladiator Garage tracks in my garage. Outside the door between our garage and living area I wanted to install a shelf for shoes. And it works great for that. Overall I recommend Gladiator Garage as a whole, and this particular items works well with the Gladiator system.
