I was dissapointed with the overall 6inch Iron Spider figures in the market and was waiting for an accurate and well defined one. Come and behold, Mafex announces their Iron Spider and by looking at the promo shots I was hooked. When the figure arrived, I was astonished by the look and packaging as expected from Mafex. The painting, articulation, and sculpt was top notch which pit a smile on my face. However, as we all know this is Mafex and QC issues are likely to be prevalent. The first one was that the top two Iron Legs were inflexible and when I started to move them, they fell off. The bigger dillema was that the golden wrist piece on the left arm of my figure was missing so I wondered if I dropped it so I checked EVERYWHERE. However, I didn't find it and came to the conclusion that the piece was not included in the package. TALK ABOUT QUALITY CONTROL In conclusion, the figure while overall a good one that comes on top compared to the competition(if there are any), has QC issues as developed by Mafex. Buy if you're a fan of the Iron Spider it's a must buy, but beware at your own risk.
