Great hat ! No maker or any tag at all ! Not waterproof ! ( But not supposed to be )

What a great product. Real cotton and in a ripstop weave for durability. It is indeed double layer material on the top and sides of the hat. This makes it an ideal candidate to take a waterproof fabric spray. Even without a fabric spray it kept my head dry in the rain. In the summer it will be fairly cool to wear and keep the sun/ heat off my head. It is indeed on the small side. But my head is on the smaller side for a man. So the hat fits me fine. If your head is on the larger size the hat will be too small. Who remembers Indiana Jones? Well this is kind of hat he would wear. Swashbuckling his way around the desert, defeating ne'er-do-wells, liberating holy relics and maidens in distress (or that dress). This is a great hat for the adventurer, buccaneer or desperado. If you are one of these, or perhaps all three, you should buy one of these hats.

Excellent hat for sun, sand and wind-protection. Used it in the mountains and desert. Well made, good materials. Good value. Update I've put it in the machine on a 30c wash, no problems at all. Would like to have some washing directions, that would gain it the extra star. As it is, I'll hand wash for safety.

Hat is good quality. It fits me perfectly but if you have a smaller head I think you'd find it too big. Works well keeping sun off my face but it doesn't make your head too hot either. Would buy again!

Good quality and water repellant, won’t keep you dry in a proper downpour! No real size adjustment, one size fits most. I have a size 59 and this comes up too small to fit comfortably for long.

This was bought in a hurry prior to jetting off to the sun. It fits me well and the string can be stowed by just tucking it into the space above your head if required. The side press studs are useful. The hat is a good size to shade all round without being too big. It easily folds/screws up and the fabric has a substantial and durable feel to it. Perspiration seems to wick and dry very well. This is a very good sun hat at a ridiculously low price for what you get. A durable and practical sun hat.good detailing. Fantastic value and very quick delivery.

I am not a great fan of the style but I knew how it looked when I bought it so I can't complain. What I was looking for was a sun hat that stays securely on when I hike on windy days and that is easy to clean. It works well on both accounts. It is a little big for my head and I'd like if there was a way to customise this a little but other than that it keeps my face, eyes safe on days when the sun is too strong to put my trust on sunscreen and sunglasses alone.

I've never added a photo to a review but when it comes to apparel I want to see how something looks. I was pleasantly surprised by this hat. I am a nature photographer and I've been looking for a hat to fit my specific needs. I have tried others that fell short. This one was just what I have been looking for. The brim is wide enough to not only provide shade but also to stop glare from entering the eyepiece of my camera. The brim also has the perfect amount of stiffness to maintain it's shape but just as important to me is the amount of flexibility (floppiness) to be able to look through the camera's viewfinder with the camera in portrait (vertical) position. Ball caps and hats with stiffer brims have to be pushed back on your head or removed thus eliminating their ability to reduce glare. This hat works perfectly! The material is a nice cotton. I was concerned when ordering that the color would be too light because the example shown on Amazon looks more ivory. I wanted a true khaki color. What I received is a light khaki. I am very pleased with it! This hat may not be the coolest hat out there. The vents in the top are small and some other synthetic fabrics may (or may not) breathe better but this cotton hat works for my needs. I also thought I wouldn't use the strap but moments after this photo was taken a big gust of wind came and tried to steal my new hat. I quickly changed my mind. It's also been convenient for when I want to remove the hat and let it hang behind me. I appreciate anything that frees up my hands or space in camera bag. Then there is the matter of value. This hat is absolutely worth the money! I highly recommend this hat!
