Great value excellent quality headphones
These are high quality, well built headphones with sound quality and clarity that rival my other headphones that cost several times more. I purchased this brand because of the excellent experience I had with their Bluetooth set for TV watching that my wife has laid claim to. & their customer service which is excellent (a rare commodity this day and age)! They are very comfortable on the ear headphones that can be worn for hours. The sound reduction mode is effective but not complete silence that is improved with the power on, though sound quality is good without power on. The gold & black style is attractive and tastefully done. Battery life with power on noise reduction is over 20 hrs and if batteries need recharge you can keep listening without a dramatic loss in sound quality but not as good noise reduction. They easily connect to all my devices with a simple plug in or provided adapters. I haven’t used the dual pronged airline adapter yet but will be soon.

Basic Headphones, a pleasant surprise.
This headphone is a very simple wired headset with basic functions. Very little to go wrong. The Active noise canceling was awesome, considering how inexpensive this was. I wore them yesterday for 4 hours in an equiment room with many motors and fans. The ANR reduced the low frequency rumble and I was able to listen to my MP3 player at a much reduced volume when the ANR was activated. Battery life is exceptional. I usually have a low tolerance for the "pinching headset" but I didnt even notice them until I took them off. Very little pinch :)

Good headset for a decent price
Let me preface by saying I am in no way a headphone expert, nor headphone snob. This review is just my observations of a good set of headphones, as compared to my daily driver headphones. Ok, on to the show... My baseline headphones are a pair of Sennheiser HD 280 Pro monitor headphones. The Sennheiser HD 280s are a closed-back, over-the-ear design. This means the ear cups are a little oversized and oval in shape to go around the ear. Being monitor headphones, the frequency response is more flat, rather than heavily bass-boosted like some popular brand headphones. These MONODEAL headphones have a slightly smaller ear cup, so they sit more on my ear, rather than around them, causing slightly more pressure on my noggin while wearing them. Also, these headphones are bass-heavy when listening. I know many people like that, but I've become accustomed to the more flat, natural response of the monitor headphones. Nothing wrong with these, just not what I'm used to now. Noise cancelling - yup, it works. These MONODEAL headphones are the first noise-cancelling headphones I've owned, and they do work. I do not have any experience with the Sony or Bose noise cancelling, so I can't compare with those (that appear to be class leaders, maybe? <shrugs>), but these do cancel out noise. These are nice looking headphones without being super flashy. Subdued stylish, if you will. Of course, looks are a personal matter, so others may not agree, but I do not mind their look. Not much more to say - good sound, good value, good looks. Just not *great* in any category for my tastes.

Great budget ANC headphones!
These have been great headphones for the price; they lasted about 4-5 years for me and then one side started to cut out occasionally, and on both sides the ear pads started cracking and dropping little black flakes, which I guess is pretty normal for these type of headphones. I wish there were replacement ear pads available, but I couldn't find any. The ear piece does easily unlock and detach, but I think a microphone is embedded in the ear piece, so it would be an expensive/custom replacement ear pad to make. They actually reduce outside noise pretty well even without the ANC; in fact, I forgot these had ANC and was just using them as regular wired headphones, and they were good at blocking out office noise around me. All in all, I recommend these as a good budget wired headphone with ANC!

My New Product Is Great!
Purchased these to replace my deteriorating 30 year old Koss headphones, and these cost less now than those did then Put these to use same day I received them, and every day since My primary use is to listen to music while I read news and the wife watches her evening soaps Great sound quality Comfortable to wear, and looks kinda kewl too The accessories and hard case are definite pluses Noise cancelling works great on low frequencies (below 1000Hz), but only moderately on higher frequencies I like the USB charging eliminating need for heavy batteries Don't need the mic, so no comment on that feature Overall I am quite satisfied and will recommend to others Update: Dang am I pleased with this purchase! Sound quality is superb, especially the base! These headphones are a perfect fit to my head and very comfortable wear I've used these an average of 4 hours most every night since receiving them 3 weeks ago Have not had to charge them since that first day My tastes run the gamut from acid rock, Spanish, jazz, ultra modern psych, classical, Celtic, to most anything but rap Much of it played LOUD Tonight I covered the wife's TV with Rodrigo y Gabriela concerts and 70's hard rock I did mention that they look pretty cool And tonight I caught my reflection in a mirror Dang, I look kewl wearing them! (It's hard to make a 70 year old look kewl) If you want very good headphones at a very good price, these are the best! You won't be disappointed in the qualities

Comfortable & did the job
I got these to use on a 10 hour flight from Newark to Athens. I was seated in row 58, lots of air & engine noise back there. These headphones cut out around 95% of the background noise and I was able to watch movies and sleep in relative quiet. My friend in the seats next to me complained about the noise and mild headaches when we landed. On the return flight the battery died about 21/2 - 3 hours into the flight, I forgot to recharge the headphones while we were on our cruise. I plugged them in to charge while I continued to use them. They blocked out the background noises while charging but there was a minor high pitched whine while plugged in, but not bad enough to take them off. Overall I was very pleased with their performance and plan to use them on my 15 1/2 hour flight in December from Vancouver, BC to Sydney, Australia. I hope the battery ill hold up fo the entire flight, if notI will put them on charge while using them.

Poor Quality Sound, Noise Cancellation didn't work
I ordered this headset for use when travelling especially long haul flights. For the price I didn't expect Bose quality but I hoped that it would produce decent quality sound while drowning out at least some of the outside noise. When I first opened the box, the first thing I noticed was the cheap quality of the whole set especially the the little box to control the noise cancelling features. It felt like very cheap plastic. I decided to persevere, however and followed instructions to plug in the box and charge it up for noise cancelling action. After a few minutes (or perhaps even less) the red charging light went out indicating that it was fully charged according to the instructions. I tried out the headset and switched the noise cancelling sound to "on" only to hear silence. I switched it back to "off" and could hear my audio. I tried charging it several times but with no luck. Sound would only play when the button was switched to off. As for the quality of the sound, it was passable but my daughter has a headset which we bought for $15 which has far clearer sound. I tried switching between the two sets and had to crank up the volume considerably to achieve the same sound on this headset. Not worth the $39 paid for it. I decided to return it. I had been hoping for something much better for the investment.

Okay, but made my ears hurt
It's a running joke that I have a pinhead, so imagine my surprise when I put these on and they pinched my ears! I use headphones to listen to remote hearings for 8 to 10 hours a day. The sound quality of this headset is absolutely adequate. ANC is absolutely adequate. They are not heavy to wear. The control for ANC is easy to use. This is the first pair of on-ear headphones I've used, and my ears started hurting about 3 hours into the workday. I wanted to give them a fair shot, so I kept using them for the rest of my shift. Unfortunately, they just weren't comfortable. Maybe the discomfort was exacerbated because I also wear glasses. These are basic headphones, and the price reflects this. They aren't overpriced. If on-ear design works for you, then consider these.
