Clubhouse Blue Note Tone Poet Series

First, I should say that the music on this is one of my favorites of the Tone Poet reissues. Absolutely love this one! Then again, I love anything with Freddie Hubbard on it! So obviously, I am going to say that the music on this one is fantastic.In terms of the pressing, this is another that I have had an issue with (along with the Gil Evans record). On side B, there are some noticeable distortions that I do not hear on other pressings so I think that this may be an issue with this specific batch. It seems like Blue Note has been taking the criticisms of its customers seriously and fixing issues once the original stock has been sold. So I would hold off on this one until they fix the issue in subsequent pressings (hopefully!).

Great album by Dexter Gordon! Another gem from the Blue Note Tone Poet Series! Sounds great! I highly recommend it!

This is a great recording. Unfortunately a bump (or a blister) was discovered at the very end of the LP. It is some sort of defect in the vinyl. I didn't notice until after the time allowed for refunds or exchanges.Out of all the Tone Poet series I've purchased, this has been the only real issue I've had.

The new Blue Note Tone Poet edition is beyond imaginations. One of the best sounding vinyls I have ever heard. Amazing pressing - not even a pop; very dinamic. Everything is top of the top - from the cover to the inner sleeve. Needless to say, the music is absolutely amazing.

Come da titolo i dischi appartenenti a questa collana sono realmente di alta qualità audiofila. La prima cosa è la qualità sonora, difatti sono vinili analogici al 100% in ogni fase della loro realizzazione. Incisione della lacca e stampa ad altissimi livelli. Inner sleeve realmente antistatico e copertina lucida completano l'opera. Da avere assolutamente!!!

Tone Poet - die neue Erfolgsgeschichte von Blue Note.Als ich die ersten Vinyls aus der ersten Serie 2019 bestellt habe, war ich absolut begeistert, was man für den Preis erhält. SO geht / ging Vinyl. Doch bei den aktuell neu hinzugefügten Titeln aus 2020 hatte ich bereits 2 Ausfälle. Leider auch bei dieser hier- übel zentriert, die Platte trudelt stark auf dem Teller- Höhenschlag inakzeptabelAlso genau die Dinge, bei denen ich eigentlich dachte, dass sie endlich Geschichte sind und die Labels inzwischen gelernt haben, was uns Vinyl-Liebhaber glücklich macht. Doch was ist so schwer daran, bei steigendem Erfolg die anfangs gebotene hohe Qualität einfach nur zu halten!? Insbesondere, wenn man zusätzlich auch noch den Preis erhöht hat?! Bald 40,- Euro ist ja schon eine Ansage für eine Platte und da erwarte ich eine perfekt produzierte Scheibe.Einzig positiv: der Klang ist wieder wunderbar.Ich tausche nun um und hoffe, nur einen Ausrutscher erwischt zu haben.

L'album è stupendo ed è per questo motivo che ho trattenuto la seconda copia del disco nonostante neanche questa fosse priva di difetti. Purtroppo, non posso non evidenziare che la produzione della Universal "Tone Poet", lodevole nell'iniziativa, si è rivelata una delusione, almeno per ciò che concerne la mia esperienza personale. Ho ordinato sette vinili e nemmeno uno è arrivato in perfette condizioni. Distorsioni e pops in abbondanza. Sto trattenendo i meno peggio, gli altri, nonostante il primo tentativo di sostituzione, dovrò restituirli chiedendo il rimborso. Preciso che il mio impianto è di buon livello. Un plauso come sempre ad Amazon per il servizio clienti, per il resto....un vero peccato.
