Bowl Scraper Attachment for Bosch Universal Plus Artiste Stand Mixers

I've often thought mixers should have bowl scrapers. However, other mixers are not designed in a way that would make a bowl scraper possible. This mixer does and this bowl scraper does it's job well. Afterward, it comes apart easily and is easily cleaned. Keeping in mind that nothing lasts forever, you get two sets of scraper blades. I'm very pleased with this purchase and I'm very likely to recommend it friends and family.

I love the bowl scraper!! It is my favorite accessory for my Bosch Universal mixer because all of the ingredients are better incorporated and mixing time is less, which helps to prevent over-mixing cake batters. The one concern I have is, when un-snaping it from the cake or cookie paddles, it sometimes feels like it's going to break, but it hasn't.

I was very excited to get this after my original Bosch bowl scrapers broke and it's really hard to mix without bowl scrapers and keep the mixture all in the middle of the bowl. I wanted to buy the official Bosch product but it has been out of stock both at the Bosch kitchen store and online for so long that I got tired of waiting so I decided to try this one instead. But this was not the solution. The first time I tried it, after a lot of sweating, cursing and using a mallet I finally got it attached and then thought I would never get it off. The next time I tried it there was no way it was going on even with the mallet. This was so stiff and hard and it doesn't fit at all. I thought it was because I have a metal piece to cover but after seeing a video of someone trying it with a plastic piece I think it just doesn't fit any of them. I don't know how the people that have given this a good review are using it because I have tried everything to get them attached and it just won't snap on both sides. My husband couldn't get it on either. I tried doing it off the bowl and on the bowl. I am tall and strong, this should have been easy, and I won't be able to use it at all. The last time I tried it I actually hurt my shoulder so it's going to go in the trash apparently. For what it's worth, it worked great the one time I got it on but that's not saying much. Complete waste of money. I guess I'll have to wait for Bosch to get the official ones back in stock.

I must say I was skeptical after reading some reviews that referred to the product as cheap or inferior, but I am so impressed. This scraper has made my Bosch even better. It does a superb job of keeping the bowl scraped down not only along the outside but also the inside shaft, where it seemed every dough and batter would climb up. Easy to assemble and clean. This product is very durable, as long as you're not trying to cream rock hard butter this should last a long time to come.

I thought this was too small to click on to my Bosch mixer attachments— but actually it was just VERY difficult to do! I am about 100 lbs and fairly strong for my size and could not do it. My husband had to click it on, and even he had a tough time with it! Works great, it’s one of my favorite accessories, but I honestly thought it was just too small and didn’t work at first because of how hard it was to get on.

I hate this product with a passion - plastic mixer parts are the worst - will always break and we will always need to replace, so when I went to replace mine I bought this and it didn’t fit. I came back, read all the reviews, saw most struggled the same way and just ate the cost. Then my mixer piece I was using broke again, and I NEEED to try and make this one work.. which has been sitting un used for 1.5yrs bc I couldn’t get it to fit the metal piece. In a last ditch effort I heated a metal butter knife and pressed on each side where you need to clip over the metal (see pictures). Not very long, not very hard, but a few times on each side did the trick. Now - it is snapped on. I do NOT KNOW if I can get it off. I do not even want to try - I will soak to clean and air dry and pray that it stays together.. but again I got it to fit using a little heat and pressure. I will say this plastic is much firmer than the original Bosch plastic and I wonder is that’s because people complained of breakage, but then there was an overcompensation.. either way.. Hope this helps
