I used to use Moosehead Grubby Putty which has sadly been discontinued and after trying countless other products I’ve finally found something as good. Perfect for my hair, adds just the amount of style and control makes it feel great and smells superb as well.

I bought this for my teenage son who’s really picky about hair products. He wanted something with hold but no shine, and this totally delivered. It’s got a creamy texture so it’s easy to apply and doesn’t go flaky. The hold lasts all day but still looks natural—not stiff or sticky. It washes out easily too, which is a bonus. Smells fresh without being overpowering. He’s already asked me to get another one when it runs out, so that says it all!

After using this for 2 years this is defo one of my favorite hair clays. It has a nice texture, decent hold, can re-shape your hair through out the day with a comb or fingers, no stickyness and not too tough or greasy. Its just got a nice balance. But why has it all of a sudden become hard to get hold of ? Its never available and the price just goes up and up. My alternatives are Tony & Guy matt clay or Lynx matt clay, but I think thats been discontinued. My hair style is a skin fade back and sides, with long hair on top combed back. If anyone is reading this and has a similar hair style as mine, please write a review with some alternate products or what works for them too, because us hair guys need good hair clays !

I like it. Soft, not too gritty, zero shine, good hold, relatively easy to wash out. Exactly what I was hoping for. Smell is nice, I think I’d prefer a more premium scent like some pomades have, but the citrus is nice and subtle.

It says matte, but it's very oily and gives a wet look even if you apply small amount. Only the smell and hold is good. But it's not matte look for sure.

Ho provato la cera per capelli American Crew e mi sono trovata molto bene. Il prodotto è perfetto per chi cerca uno styling versatile e naturale: permette di modellare i capelli senza appesantirli o renderli lucidi in modo eccessivo. La consistenza è morbida e facile da lavorare con le dita, rendendo semplice creare sia look definiti che acconciature più casual. La tenuta è media, quindi i capelli restano al loro posto durante la giornata, ma il risultato finale appare naturale e non rigido come con altri prodotti più aggressivi. Un altro punto a favore è il profumo discreto, che rende l’applicazione piacevole senza risultare troppo invasivo. La cera è adatta a tutti i tipi di capelli e consente di ridare forma anche ai capelli già pettinati durante la giornata. Excelente cera modeladora. Soy de cabello quebrado, largo medio en la parte alta y muy corto en los lados. Utilizo secadora para peinarme, lo peino hacia atras y hacia un lado, me gusta que con menos de 1/4 de yema del dedo con producto es suficiente para peinar todo el cabello, no se crean plastas ni grumos, y el producto es duradero en el dia, te permite pasar la mano un par de veces sin despeinar o perder la forma, el aroma citrico es sutil y no molesta ni opaca los aromas de la locion o la crema corporal. Como unico contra diría que el acabado no es mate tal cual, por muy poco producto que apliques el acabado es con un ligero brillo, se ve bien y estilizado, pero no es un aspecto natural. Recomiendo probar y usar poco producto para lograr que se quede en su lugar. Si lo que buscas es fijación para peinados con cabello levantado, esto no es lo que buscas.
