Top quality D3
I have taken this product for years. Especially during flu season. Better absorption with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.

Good stuff, olive-oil based (no soy!)
Vitamin D is increasingly acknowledged as vital for health and immunity, yet statistics show double-digit percentages of citizens around the world are deficient. After all, we are designed to run around naked outside in the sun all day, but sadly few of us do. It's hard to get sufficient D from dietary sources (since we're supposed to manufacture it ourselves), so supplementation is wise. During the worst of the pandemic, D supplementation was recommended by an extraordinarily broad base of advocates, from the most ardent vaccine skeptics to Anthony Fauci himself. It's just common sense. Jarrow's D preparation is one of the few that is soy-free, substituting olive oil for the vehicle. So that's healthy too! It's well-priced and of good quality from a reliable company.

Almost perfect, and they worked
Started taking these in January after my doctor told me my D level was low. Took 2500 IU a day (occasionally skipped a day) and was re-tested in July - happy to report my D level is right where he wants it to be (went from 25 to 44). I was also getting some vitamin D from my multivitamin and I made sure I got early morning sun. I like the fact that these capsules are quite small and easy to swallow. They would be a perfect supplement if only they didn't contain bovine gelatin, because there are no other questionable fillers or additives, just EVOO, glycerin, and water..I'm not 100% vegan so I would probably order again. Expiration date also good, almost 2 years from purchase date.

Calcium Magnesium Potassium Will Get Used Up!
FINALLY got my vitamin d blood level of 24 up to normal. I noticed a difference with these right away. I was taking the NOW brand & Vitafusion gummies for almost 2 years and couldn't figure out why my blood levels were not increasing. So I switched to these 2500IU's and within 1.5 months my level increased to 33 which is good for me. However, I am starting to notice I get cramps in my calf muscles when I take this and its because vitamin d depletes potassium. At first I thought it was magnesium so I kept taking it and nothing fixed the cramps. I randomly started eating dried banana chips and noticed the cramps were gone so I tested it a few days later and sure enough it worked again... So I'm Posting this to help someone else struggling with this... Check your potassium calcium and magnesium levels. They must be balanced or they will get used up!
