I am very glad, I found this one. I bought a G.. straightener first, which we all know, costs twice as much... Had to send it back, was faulty. Received another one from them, faulty again. Then I read reviews about this one but was skeptical at first. I have been using it for a month now. It's design is beautiful, works perfectly. Gets to the desired heat in just seconds. I have a very delicate thin hair and it doesn't burn them. The result is long-lasting. Yes, it does make that funny noise, but it's not loud, it's not annoying to me. Actually, I even find it helpful because as a multi-tasking person, I normally tend to forget that I turn these things on, but because of the "noise", I am always reminded that the straightener is on & ready to use :) If there is one thing I could ask for, they could include a heat protection glove.

I spent so long looking for hair straighteners, looking at reviews and making comparisons. My trusted GHD had finally sparked out, and my back up ones were turning themselves off, so I needed to buy some, however I didn't want to spend lots. The Babyliss Platinum Diamond are fab! They are lightweight, the on /off switch is underneath and the digital display lets you save your preferred heat setting. The ceramic plates glide through my hair, I don't hear any buzzing, and it hardly takes any time to straighten. The picture shows a quick once over, and my hair is really curly. I also bought the Babyliss Platinum Diamond Hairdryer which is also fab it dries my hair super quick and also helps to straighten. I highly recommend for the price and quality!

I've used these Platinum Diamond 235 Babyliss straighteners several times now and am happy with them. Having agonised over the dozens of different ones available, I think I made a pretty good choice. My last two straighteners were from Remington, but they were not that good. I wanted a better straightener with floating plates and the Babyliss ones do close well enough without much pressure needed. I have set mine to 160 and this is adequate for my fine hair. I tried it on on 180 and thought it was a bit too much. Many other reviews I read mentioned the noise from the ionising feature (crickets!/clicking/buzzing) and this very nearly put me off buying. For me the noise is like an electrical crackle and is not annoying, it's just a bit disconcerting but there's a sticker on the handle advising that the noise is not a fault. All in all, they're not too bad at all. They're an improvement on my old ones at least!. Unlike many folks (it seems), I have no desire to own Ghds as I need control with temperature, I think the one setting of 185 on Ghds would kill my hair as I regularly straighten it. These Babyliss ones are a bit cheap looking in my opinion (plasticky) but have a five year guarantee according to the manufacturer.

After my GHD straighteners finally gave up on me I really needed to get some new ones and having read the reviews for these I wasn't quite sure what to expect. These are really good and I have the advantage with these to control the temperature which I didn't have with my last ones. Really good for the money, a well satisfied customer, I would recommend.

Does make a low electrical noise with the ions but works great! My bathroom extractor fan is much noisier.

do not buy! it does not heat. It never really heated a lot and over time it has gotten worse.

No problems with Seller. Bought these as an upgrade to my old Babyliss diamond straighteners with I have had two pairs of in the last 7 years and love love love. These do not compare. They have made the plate an inch smaller making it a nightmare to curl with. You have to take smaller sections which means it takes longer and does not have the same bouncy blow out look. Not impressed and now looking for another pair of straighteners

I was worried before buying as the review truly worried me about the noise etc. It’s month I am using this product and makes me laugh some people are so sentire about a noise barely can be hear. It’s just the ion and the iron heat fast and works fast too. It is perfect for small price and if you are always in hurry. It can curl the hairs as well, but you must buy a heatproof growl aside(sadly isn’t provided). Just buy it and worry about nothing!

I received piece with uae plug, with pouch / matt. Flat iron looks amazing, and works perfectly. But I have to return it because of annoying buzzled noise. As I read in description, the noise from Ionic system. But guys, it’s truly annoying like something is broken inside. I don’t know why I should use it, when there is a lot of options on the market with the same quality and look, without noise. I want to enjoy the process with quite straightener.

Even I used only the medium temperature because I have medium length of fine hair, I achieved the what I expected in a very quick time. There's a buzz noise whenever u use it because of their technology called ionic. It really made my frizzy hair smooth and shine after. Thanks to that fantastic technology. I also like to use it for curling occasionally. Love the shape of it because its little round at the back of the plate, so easy to twist and rotate. Its super glide. 😍 With the timer also that let me know if it's ready to use after heating up. Never regret to choose this one. 🌟
