Compact & Clever Camp Stove!
Fantastic compact and clever camp stove! I was looking for something affordable and "all-in-one" for my solo camping adventures, and this delivered so well! Things I loved: - COMPACT: The stove is beautifully compact and lightweight even with the fuel canister tucked inside. Easy to pack up after use and stow in my bag - and i love the little mesh bag it all packs into. - VERSATILE: The frying pan works perfectly as a lid when boiling water in the pot, and also served to strain water out after cooking. I used it over a four day trip for dinner every night, coffee every morning (and sometimes coffee after lunch!). At first i thought the small piece of fabric was unnecessary, but quickly found multiple uses for it! Pot-holder, placemat for my meal in the pan, and cushion to pack the stove back up! - ADJUSTABILITY: The ability to dial in the flame for fast water boiling, or to more slowly warm a meal was perfect! Over all, great bargain camp stove - happy to recommend for others who are looking for quality, pack-ability, and ease of use! PHOTOS: you can see the stove in use as well as some shots of the components packed and unpacked with a fuel canister in the pot!

Great Stove, Mediocre Pot
I give the burner 5/5, the pot set 3/5. Weāve used this out hiking on 3 trips as well as a few times around the house, and Iāve really fallen in love with this burner. It works even in fairly stiff wind, the lighter is a great addition, and it is super light and easy to pack. The whole setup is a breeze to setup and tear down. The pot set however feels super cheap. I dented it just by stirring some soup mix into water. The lid is honestly the worst part. It is very fiddle to get on the pot, and it doesnāt stay in place well at all. If the pot was even moderately better made, this would be a grand slam of a product. As is, I think Iād buy this burner and get a better quality pot and spork. The spork has a pretty blah metallic taste I couldnāt get to go away.

Good one person gear
This is inexpensive, light enough and heats very quickly. The nesting fuction is good and it will not dissapoint for its intended use...remember it is small for one person...

Recommend
Works great. Only seconds slower than my friends jetboil, but much more economical. The handles make for easy grab and pour or just to drink from. Used in 30 degree temps. Flint start reliable each time i cooked. 3 day trip used for all meals and looks like it'll hold up a long time.

Ideal Compromise
As this is for emergency use mainly in my case, it needed to have fuel, burner, and a pot w a utensil, all packaged as one & be small, light & cheap. For $6 more you get a cup and additional utensil. For $4 less, you can pare it down further. Ea pot can act as a lid for the other. The piezo-lighter worked 10/10., folding mechanics & 2-turn valve action are all smooth. This will roost in my truck. I got stuck remotely once at a late hr after $1200 with of cooling system work and got ill w/o food. Never again. This is MY idea of a perfect compromise. YMMV. I'm happy! Good as a gift to a young scout or adult, city or rural. Pwr outage? Meh. I remember a drunk took out the pole to pwr a hotel. Only I had any candles, (mine, floating. Continued to use the hottub. š) Only 1 other flashlight in entire the 750 rooms. If it hits a town, you are not eating out tonight. (Some gas stoves will not light with a match if there is no AC. Check yours, today.) Get something like this. You will rest easier if you never use it. That alone is worth 26(-3$ discount.)

Little backpack cookware, Tiny stove, seems to work fine
I bought this to go motorcycle camping. Motorcycle camping is like backpacking without all the walking. Very limited space to pack. Take what you really need, and leave the rest at home. I bought this really more for the mess kit, than the stove, but the price for the mess kit with the stove vs without it, was only a few dollars. I thought it worth the gamble. Mess kit is good, works fine. spoon, a little flimsy but functional. the stove was the surprise, since I eat a lot of prepared foods, canned soups, dehydrated backpacking food, coffee, etc. it is mostly heating things up and boiling things. I did use the stove for this purpose it works great. Boils a cup of water in a couple of minutes on medium. I would not try to use it to hold a 10" cast iron frying pan for cooking a steak, or boiling an 8 quart pot of birria stew. If you want to do that buy a coleman and don't complain about this small convenient backpacker kit.

Burner is cheap
Cheap and does the trick but not well. First time taking it camping I had to hold the pot while boiling water because the burner is unstable and easily bent. Canāt bend it back perfectly level. Itās my first time using one of these kind of stoves so I donāt know if theyāre all like this. Next time Iām thinking of getting something similar to the jetboil system where the pot ālocksā into the burner.
