This is so cute and works perfectly as a travel board game. I love the pattern, and the game pieces are a good size. It will last many many years!

I bought this as a gift for an avid Backgammon player. She travels a lot for work and she absolutely loves this.

I usually love Pendleton products and wanted to love this, but it fell a bit short. It’s attractive, lightweight, and easy to transport, however it doesn’t lie flat and the pieces shift around easily. It works okay indoors or if the ends are weighed down, but using it outside, especially with any wind or on an uneven picnic table, makes setup and play frustrating. Stick with the backgammon case

I love this set. My family and I love backgammon This was a perfect set for me to go traveling or backpacking. So lightweight sturdy and very cool design. For me owning many sets this is by far my favorite design.

This is a pretty set, but has some design flaws. First, it is a bit smaller than I expected, but usable. Unfortunately the placement of the snaps is somewhat crooked, and on one side of the board a snap falls right in the playing area. So chips have to be placed around the snap on that dart. It also would have been nice if they had made the straps completely detachable. Instead they are sewn in and in the way when trying to lay the board out for play. We usually set the game piece bag on the straps to keep them from curling back over the board, but when we do, the pressure on the straps lifts that end of the board. So the chips slide down the slope on that end. Overall, these flaws make the game a bit inconvenient to play. On the positive side, the canvas material is nice, and heavy enough that it would roll out flat (with the exception of the strapped end as stated previously). And the game pieces seem to have a durable finish. Had they made the board just a bit bigger, and sewn the straps to the bag, instead of the board, this would have been perfect.

I love the way it looks, this thing is a piece of art and it's the perfect size. The one problem I have with it is the fabric could crease and create a mound in the board that's hard to flatten and the pieces are light so they could slide off a pip. Since the pieces are light, when you roll the dice, the dice can hit the piece off a pip and you could lose track of where your piece was. It's expected that these problems could occur since it's a travel set. Magnets would solve the problem. The set is very compact like a pencil case and would fit in a backpack's bottle holder. I recommend the set to anyone who loves backgammon, need a set this compact and admire native inspired patterns.
