SBAR'S PRO5101 Master Calligraphy Set

a great pen set for the calligraphy lovers who wanted to develop this as a hobby. I was going through a lot of stress in my work place and wanted to develop a new hobby so wanted to check this set and it turned out to be an amazing product. This product definitely helped me a naive calligrapher and right now I am able to write 20 different fonts. Even am able to write a forgotten Cadles font with this pen site. Love this product and would definitely recommend to others as well.

for under $20 you would be hard pressed to find a better set. I am a beginner and did not want to invest a lot of money now. I will upgrade eventually but these are fine for learning. I am using a converter and my own ink so the complaints about the cartridges are not relevant to me. fast shipping!edit: I did try the cartridges and they are fine. good ink. they are a bit hard to install but if you insert the cartridge and stand the nib section upright on a table and press down very firmly you will here a pop and you're good to go. the ink may not flow immediately but if you put the nib to paper in a minute the warmth of your hand will start the flow.

Not the best one I've ever had, but it works. Oddly, the one that I received, had evidently been tried out before by someone who didn't like it, and had sent it back with one pen already connected to the handle. When I tried that one, the ink tube wouldn't crunch in, so I decided to try another pen part. When that one worked, I said, OK for the tiny price of this item, I'll keep it. In fact, I tried the other pen with another nib, and another ink part, and if you push hardenough, and are willing to wait about a minute, the ink gets into the nib, and you can write. They write really well,once you get them going. I didn't get a scratchy feel at all, like someone else said, so I think that's probably just when they have the wrong type of paper.My father-in-law, from Vietnam, tried it after I did, and he always has written with beautiful calligraphy since his childhood. It was as if he was like a 1935 teenager, still writing in the classical way they were taught in those days.Just buy it, and push hard to get the ink capsules plugged into the nibs, and enjoy a very inexpensive pen set.

Exactly what I expected!! Easy to use, beautiful flowing design at your fingertips. Comfortable and affordable. The ink takes a minute or so to reach the tip, but this is how a nib should be supplied for complete control.

Returned the item. Pen nibs would not fill with ink once the barrel was inserted. Tried several different ways to bring the ink down and a couple different barrels and nibs with no luck. Seemed to be a good quality, would have loved it if they'd actually worked.

Cheap plastic, probably won't last long.

I'm still trying to master the art of calligraphy but it's fun trying. Thanks for offering this great product. You seldom see calligraphy written anymore.

Very nice quality set of pen tips. They work really well too. Great value.
