Grape Molasses – 14.1oz (400g) Review: Delicate, delicious - perfect with plain yogurt - I've been using the Mid-East Grape Molasses for years, but it wasn't available so I tried this. It is a little lighter in consistency and a little more delicate. I think I might actually like it better. Had grape molasses at a hotel in Greece for the first time 6-years ago and fell in love with the complementary flavors, especially with a really good yogurt. It's great on any style of plain yogurt - Greek, Icelandic, French. Review: Great brand and delicious product. - I know the brand and this product is great. Try it mixing with tahini (60-65% Tahini - 35-40% Pekmez) you are going to love it !!! The price was a little expensive but I believe it is normal since this is imported product.

So Disappointed
I didn’t get to taste the product based on the bottle condition the way it was delivered. Broken glass was everywhere in the molasses. The jar looked like if a heavy item like a car has driven over it. So disappointed!

Good stuff
I had no idea that there was such a thing as grape molasses, but needed some for a Greek recipe; Hoirino me Syka (pork braised with figs). The jar arrived with a long expiration date and well packed.Although I’m not familiar with the taste of the molasses, I can say, the recipe turned out delicious.

Arrived in perfect shape!
Bought this grape molasses to try in a recipe next week, so haven't used it yet. But when I order something that comes in a glass jar, I am very happy it arrives complete, well-packaged, and not broken! All looks in good shape and so far very happy!

Tastes good
This product seems to be free of additives. It is in a glass jar (big plus--plastics are a problem). It is measured by weight instead of fluid ounces so the jar is smaller than you think(hence loosing a star). It is a bit thin. They really do need to offer a larger jar, it would be a saving in bottling and general trouble AND bring the price down. AMAZON should state whether any product of this kind is measured by fluid oz or weight; it is not the manufacturers' fault as it was correctly stated on the jar.

Okay after seeing it in a basket on Chopped of course I had to try it ... and am glad I did.
I am not qualified to judge how this brand compares to other brands of grape molasses. But as a topping for yogurt or a tahini-molasses spread, this is certainly worthy of trying.
