exceptional value at the price I paid. Nice deep net stops all comers. Easy to put together and put up, easy to break down and pack away. You can carry it to practices if needed. Probably best uses are as a pitching target (includes about 15x15 inch detachable target with its own sac (keep track of your on target pitches). Also great for hitting practice off a tee or for soft toss, and for back up for young pitchers throwing to young catchers. 7' x 7' size is best for younger kids, 5'x5' size would probably be better for older kids with much better control. We run all kinds of drills with this as the target---put it at 2nd base and let your catchers practice thier throw downs for stealing runners, put it at first base in lieu of a first baseman as a target for infielder practice. put it at home plate for your outfielders making throws to the plate. Repetition teaches consistency. This lets one kid by them selves (with a bounce back for example), or one coach with one kid, to run rep after rep using a bucket of balls and this as the throwing target. I like to use it for short stop throwing practice with the kids as a competition---see how many kids can hit the big target, or for tighter targets how many can reliably hit the 15x15 target from SS with this net at first base.

This is a very nice net for its intended purpose however the quality is lacking. We have had the unit for less than a year. During the winter it was stored away inside. This Spring we got it out and when the summer break started I set it up in our side yard for my son to use as the assembly and dismantling of it is a bit too much for him. After around 4 weeks I went to pack it up and found that one of the tension poles had broken. Readying through some of the other reviews here this seams like this may be a common issue. This product comes with a one year warranty though SKLZ negates the warrant for any item left outside. So does the fact that this product (an outdoors products at that) was left outside for a month mean that I have no warranty? The product was really only used a handful of times and it has not bee abused - all other pieces look okay. I have contacted SKLZ and if they come through and replace the broken part then I will amend my review back up to 5 stars. However right now, an outdoor product that breaks after limited use and because it was outside has not warranty only gets 2 star.

I'll tell you why I purchased this one. All the components are attached to each other so you can't lose a part. You need to put the 2 poles on the base and attach the net. All of them collapse/fold on themselves making it easy to assemble quickly. I took it to a softball practice where there was another type of net there. Both of them required you to get the pieces and put them together first, then run the poles through the net. Well, as I put mine together, one of the coaches was putting the other one together. After I finished mine, I helped him with his. Couldn't put it up...because he was missing the top part of one of the poles rendering it useless. According to him, it was there the day before, but not today. That's a major plus going for the SKLZ one. I purchased the 7'X7' one because I intend on using it for soccer in the fall. Currently I am using it for girls (U8) softball. They have fun trying to hit the net when I set it up at first base. Also, the added pitching target is a plus. It just attaches to the net with hook and you can adjust it up and down. The only thing I have added was some velcro wraps that I use to keep the net attached to the horizontal bar on the ground (so the net doesn't bunch up towards the front). Had an issue with the bottom frame. Contacted SKLZ and the sent out a replacement right away. Couldn't be happier. It's lightweight, portable, and just simple to use. All coaches for soccer, football, baseball, softball, etc. should have one. And it's affordable to boot!

This net can be set up and taken down in about 3-4 minutes easily by my 9-year old. He uses it for pitching practice (pitching into the pocket attachment), and both soft toss and tee batting practice. My 12-year old uses it for practicing his shots for soccer. The slack in the net, coupled with the ground stakes and flexible poles, allows the net to absorb powerful kicks. I didn't expect it to work so well for soccer, especially after negative experiences with other home goal set-ups (PVC pipe style goals) in the past. We reset the ground stakes 1-2 times per soccer practice session, but no adjustments are needed for pitching or batting practice. We'll use it in the basement this winter once the snows start, which allows batting practice during winter months. The quick set up and carry bag makes it great to take on vacation. The kids abosolutely love it. The only negative I've noticed so far is that the yellow paint scratches easily from the U-shaped ground stakes, but that should be expected. Too early to say how well the ent will hold up over time, but as long as it is not left out in the rain, it should be fine. Overall, this is a fantastic practice tool for little leaguers and youth soccer.

期待して購入したにもかかわらず、強度的に使い物にならず、使用時間10分で返品を決めました。 非常に残念な商品です。
