Mattel Ever After High Rosabella Beauty Doll

Beautiful doll

This doll is one of many in my collection of Mattel's Monster and Ever After High collections, yet it is an absolute stunner. When buying this doll, I was a bit afraid for the conflicting reviews, ones saying there is no ring/bracket or belt, but upon receiving mine I was pleasantly suprised with both accessories in the box. This is not to say that all users must have received the same item as me, more that it is another review that did receive what they're wishing for. What is even more surprising is that the doll that is shown is lacking the bracelet ring and waistbelt, so there might be a mixture of dolls going out. The only problem I have with the product is that it has slightly hard to position legs with it's rubber-like shoes and mine was barely mistamped in the face department, which is almost completely unnoticeable. Totally buy this doll if your thinking about it, with or without the bracelet ring and waistbelt it is completely adorable, and a little more sturdy than Monster High dolls for children.

I don't have the money yet, but when I do, I am totally getting her! She's beautiful and I can't wait to read her story! Update: Due to custom delays, I was unable to update my review for a while. Also, I will probably not come up as "Verified Purchase" beacuse it took so long, that I ended up receiving her from another company. Here is my review on the doll: She is gorgeous! Her skin color is slightly tanned, much like Briar's. She is wearing a golden crown made out of roses. She has brown hair with either red or really dark pink highlights and her hair is curly and pulled back into a half-pony. She came with her bangs pulled back too, but I took them out because I thought they looked better in front of a little bit of her eye. Some people say she has golden chandelier earrings with roses on them, but I think they're more like candlesticks with lighted candles and a rose in front of each earring. She wears brown glasses with one red rose on each side. Her eyes are brown and her lips are a bright red. The bottom half of her dress is gold with a rose pattern and the top of the dress is cream with green leaves and redish-pink roses all around it. She has a fur collar around her neck and what's meant to look like a yellow tank top or under shirt under the collar. Her belt has two red roses in the middle with green leaves surrounding them and the rest of the belt looks like either a green stem or vine. Her boots are the longest EAH doll boots I've seen. They are each brown and furry with roses on the side; only one rose on each boot (the top rose on each) is painted redish-pink. She comes with a golden bracelet that is connected by a chain to a golden rose ring and a golden purse that looks like a book and has one redish-pink rose that clips the purse together. The only issues I had with my doll were that her glasses were a little difficult to put on, but once I got them on, they look beautiful on her and somehow when Mattel put on her crown/headband, it sliced a little of her ear, so my Rosabella has a cut in her ear and yes, it's noticeable. However, the cut is not big enough to do any extra damage to the doll, so overall, I love this doll and she's a great add to my EAH collection. Also, since I said I was excited for her story, I must say I was not disappointed, but I don't want to give away spoilers, so all I'll say is that I think Rosabella has a big, sweet, heart.

I did not have any problems with my doll that some of the other reviewers described except that her hair is a bit frizzy in the back. But it's SOFT, not sticky with glue, and it's styleable. You could completely reroll it if you wanted. I just used a little Suave Anti-Frizz cream to make a couple of curls glossy again. My doll has a small brown mark right above her jawline but I'm not going to try to remove it because it looks like a beauty mark. Rosabella comes with all the jewelry and accessories pictured. Her glasses are fastened to the inside of the box and her ring/bracelet combo are on her right hand, hidden behind her skirt. Now, the doll in this photo is a lot brighter than the actual doll. It's my understanding that Rosabella is Hispanic. Her skin tone is a light olive. The fur on her blouse is brown, not white as pictured, and her boots are the same shade of brown. Her skirt and wristlet purse are gold, not yellow, as are her earrings and crown. Her glasses slip on easily without messing up her hair, and they stay on. The base of her stand is gold. The stand itself is clear plastic and fits just right over her plastic belt. She has very wide-set brown eyes. I advise not removing the clear rubber band holding her hair back from her face or the one that holds on her crown. Her boots have a slit up the back to make them removable. I was told that Mattel is releasing new dolls without brushes, accessories, or jewelry in some cases so if you've been wanting the signature Rosabella Beauty, BUY THIS ONE NOW. You can't beat the price. She's so lovely that she almost glows, and you'll regret not buying the doll with all her accessories when Mattel sells out of old stock.

Very light weight plastic and box is ridiculous! The box is thin paper and doll was stuck to paper and hard to remove, the packaging was suitable for a very cheap doll. Don't buy this product! The second doll I bought had a broken neck.

Beauty is a good description for this doll. I was very pleasantly surprised that the catalog photos of this doll, don't do her justice. Rosabella is wonderfully detailed from her rose flower crown, to her faux fur boots- buttoned with rose buttons. She has a crown, earrings, purse, RING!, glasses, belt , and stand! The sheer over-skirt of her dress has gold lame rose print over yellow gold silk topped with a bookish yet somehow still elegant blouse with a faux fur ruff- a wonderful combination of elements of her ancestry. Unlike her re-issued cousin Briar Beauty- Rosabella comes with all of the elements that made us love the Ever After Dolls to start with. So very very happy that I didn't settle for the winter two pack with Charming- as I would have hated the molded plastic clothing, and I would have missed out on all her wonderful details. SO very very happy to add this doll to my collection.
