Playskool Transformers Rescue Bots Blades the Flight-Bot Figure

Perfect toy for a toddler who's getting into robots and the Rescue Bots. We discovered the cartoon and my son loved his Heatwave Rescue Bot toy so we had to get Blade too. It also was nice the price wasn't so ridiculous like the smaller robots that are more like transformers. Given the longevity of toddler toys, these are built well and priced right. I currently have one stashed away for the holidays. I think any boy or girl would enjoy playing with these toys. Just a reminder, these are the versions that DO NOT transform, just the arms, feet and head move with the center area for the figurine to sit (which is not included and I have yet to find them sold separately at a reasonable price)

Nice toy for anyone who likes Rescue Bots. The small Burns Family Figures (which have to be purchased separately) fit well in the chest. Unfortunately the figure does not transform, but since it holds the people figures it is a fair trade off. I have 3 boys ages 3, 5 and 8. All 3 play with it and tend to throw it around a lot. Very durable, no issues with breaking. Only downside is the hinged lid for the chest compartment often comes off, and my kids have to ask me to replace it for them frequently. Otherwise a nice toy for young children.

I bought several of the Rescue Bots, including Blades. My grandsons were age 4 when I purchased them, and I immediately became the favorite grandma. The boys play with their Rescue Bots every day. These figures are fairly large, we'll made, and stand up to the tough treatment those boys can hand out. They have younger brothers now who also play with their brother's Rescue Bots, and at 2 yrs old, these large figures with no small removable parts are fun and safe to play with. Great birthday present our Christmas gift.

Great product. For the price, this is an awesome product! My 3 y/o loves all things Rescue Bot and this is no different! They do not transform, but that is clearly stated. He loves to put the smaller figures inside. Nice feature!

I know that isn't the recommend age range but the toy is handling him well. Admittedly he likes to talk to him and pose him more than bash him but the bashing my 9 year old son had given Blades has not affected anything on the toy at all, no joints out of whack, no scuffed plastic, nothing. They are built to last. I'm loving them. I definitely got more than my money's worth on this purchase.

This was a lousy product. Why sell a transformer that does not transform?! My five-year-old ripped the leg off trying to make it do it's thing.

Another great gift from amazon that I was able to send to my nephew, Transformers are his thing right now.

My son Loves Transformers Rescue bots and likes this due to its larger size. While this one doesn't transform like some of the smaller ones, the blades on his back spin and his arm and legs move.

Doesn't do any transforming...which is a bit rubbish for a "Transformer", it does explain it in the description but try telling a 4 year old! Disappointing. Can't even bend the arms/legs...

Doesn't transform. I bought this for my son expecting that he'd be able to transform it into the blades copter. However, it doesn't transform into the helicopter. This was disappointing as that's the whole reason I bought it. My son does not play with it. He continues to play with all of his other transformers. I highly recommend the playschool heroes transformers for 3-6 year olds as they don't need help transforming them. We will likely be giving this particular transformer away as it's just taking up space.
