At long last I finally got the opportunity to use my heat press today. I ordered the sublimation paper before my machine. Went on vacation the day after heat press arrived. Went through a covid scare, my best friend’s husband died, he was my friend too. I followed the directions to the letter. Would not transfer at all. I used the sublimation spray waited for it to dry, sprayed it again rolled it pressed it again waited for it to dry. Placed image face down. After 70 seconds I lifted a corner of the paper and saw nothing. Placed it for another 70 seconds still nothing. I have Sublimation ink for my Epson 640 printer. Plain paper, high quality print. Now it still could be operator error as I am new to this. However I can read and follow directions. Tried to make “Save the Hooters” T Shirts for out breast cancer walk on Oct. 16th. Didn’t get the shirts printed in time but I did get them tie dyed. Today is when I finally got the chance to print them. 😞

I was excited to try this to make horror movie shot glass sets to sell. I followed the directions very precisely and noticed that even after letting them dry for over 24 hours that they did not hold up getting too wet. I tried again and added more coats of the clear coat spray and that didn't change the ink running after being wet long enough to place the decal in the position I wanted. They aren't easy to handle even though I was able to control the positioning. If I tried to move them anymore they tore or wrinkled beyond fixing. I tried resetting with an eye dropper to avoid touching them and it just doesn't seem like they are thick enough even with extra coats of clear coat. Very thin, ink smears and just overall low quality. I don't know how it had such high reviews but unfortunately I cannot give a high rating not a recommendation to purchase this brand. I'm not sure if the pack I received was too old or if it's the brand overall.
