Englebert Humperdinck: King of Romance

This is a relaxing movie to watch about his life growing up poor and making it to the top. I have loved and adored this man since I was five years old. My Dad sometimes played his music at our bedtime and I couldn't stop moving to his music while I was under the covers. He is older but as sexy as ever. He doesn't have a cocky bone in his body but has confidence in his voice and talent. His voice makes you feel like you are floating on a cloud in heaven. I recommend this movie if you want to know a little more about his personal life and see his wife and kids too. From humble beginnings to a Star life. This man added a sparkle to my eyes for years and I'm sure for many other women too.Enjoy!!!!He represents all the romance men are clueless about these days.

Enjoyed all of it - even the songs I hadn't heard him sing before. Saw him live recently and he can still singvery well for an 83 year old.

I grew up hearing Englebert and as an adult I've come to really appreciate this talent man. I really didn't know much about the man nor how he got to be as popular as he is now. I bought this dvd for my parents to watch and ended up watching it with them. It brought back a lot of memories for them and we all enjoyed seeing what his homes look like and my parents were very impressed at what an educated and intelligent man he is. I enjoyed the dvd more then I ever imagined I would and it was so nice to share it with my parents.

Anything Englebert is great.

Okay, but not as good as I was hoping

Most enjoyable. Only factors to be aware of, some parts are from the "Engelbert Live" DVD, and it is more documentary than concert. Still, well worth buying to learn more about this very talented man and his life.

I am a long time fan of Engelbert and Amazon is the only place I found that have all his old as well as new releases and "you can see what songs are on the cd before purchasing". I am always pleased with the products I receive. As long as Amazon will offer any Engelbert cd's/videos, I will purchase. As stated in the second line, what is important to me is knowing what songs are on the cd. I have never been disappointed in any purchase from Amazon. Bravo Amazon for supplying these cd's.
