Not perfect, but great–read for important tips
This has been great for me. I ran into some physical issues that caused me to have to completely relearn shooting from scratch. This lets me easily put up 400 shots in under an hour. If they are all "threes", which take longer to retrieve the ball, about 56 minutes, less time for shorter shots. But I have tips for getting the most out of this device, and fixing some shortcomings (be sure to see my photos): 1. The first thing you'll notice is that although it's nice for the return angle to be adjustable, after a while it will start walking to a different angle. Once it does, it keeps going, and you need to get on a ladder to turn it back. So, I used zip ties to lock it to returning straight forward. 2. While it's not a problem to put the clips on the rim itself, I found it better to clip them to the rings that hold the net, on the underside of the rim. Also, the clips tend to pop off in either location, requiring another ladder visit, so I use zip ties to secure them so they don't move so easily. Be sure to lap the strap over (not under) the rear rim supports, in order to lean the clips forward, and not backward where they can pop off easier. You can use additional zip ties to clip the straps to those supports. 3. I've had it up for about 16 months. Just after a year, the stitching on the straps gave out at the bottom, one by one. The straps and stitching get weathered and stiff, and will eventually fail. I've been able to get more life by punching a hole (I actually nibble the hole with sharp wire cutters), then thread zip ties through to re-attach the straps. I also used zip ties to strengthen the connection between the two halves of the chute, to ensure it lasts longer.

Works as expected.
As someone who plays basketball a lot, I wanted something to help work on my consistency of a made shot and this does just that. I've owned this for a week and due to snow have only used it 4 days, I have already been able to notice better shooting off a made shot. The ball does come back to you regardless of where you're shooting, if it be FT line, mid range or a 3 pointer from any spot, corner, top of the arc or the wing. The only thing I wish is that it would come back off a 3 ball a bit faster but for what this is, it does the job well enough that you just may gave to bend down here and there to pick the basketball up if it has slowed down to a soft dribble or roll. Also with it being a 360° swivel, the more shots you make the more it will want to shift it's return direction here and there. Overall though I have been extremely pleased with it's performance. $40 is a lot but when you compare it to any of your other basketball return options, it's relatively cheap. Definitely reccomend this item to an player looking to improve their game. I will update this review of something changes with it's durability.

Works well but needs a simple mod to make it perfect.
I've been looking for something like this to put on our backyard hoop. We wanted something that can rotate to any angle we want to practice with our shots from different spots. I've posted a video just to show exactly how it performed. I was shooting from about 10-12ft away and as you can see the ball gets back to me consistently - the bounce depends on how you hit your shot. For the most part, the ball would return to you on "lucky bounces" a little slower compared to when you hit nothing but net. Overall I'm quite happy that I don't have to run after the ball every shot. Why the 4 stars? Well, the more you shoot, you'll notice it will start shifting to another angle and soon enough you would need to straighten it back again. This didn't really show on the video but trust me, it does. One quick solution I came up with was to put a metal clip to "lock" the ball return in place - however, I'm sure there are other ways to lock this in place - but I found this the quickest way. I've had this for almost a whole month and have used it almost daily and it seems to be holding up quite well. The only time one of the hooks came off the rim was when my kids were playing and they were consistently hitting the ball return directly with their shots (air ball) - I figure if you're not doing that, this should last a fairly long time.

Great gift idea
We bought this for my grandson to use on his basketball net in his driveway. It is a nice product a bit flimsy, but it retrieves the ball in the direction you turned, which helps him a lot with all the practicing he does.

Works very well, does NOT last.
Before it breaks, this hoop return works beautifully. It nicely directs the ball back to you after a shot, and you can quickly and easily adjust the direction, unlike a lot of other hoop returners. The maddening things is that with only a little bit of extra materials cost they could have made this thing highly durable. But no. The plastic clips they went with, and the nylon straps, are not made to last. I was able to nurse the thing along with some jerry-rigging, but eventually too many of the parts broke and I had to give up on it. I should clarify that with the jerry-rigging I did manage to get a couple years worth of light use out of it, so I'm not saying the thing falls apart right out of the box. If you're willing to replace it after a year or two, and your highest priority is ease of installation and being able to adjust the angle without the need for a ladder (unless you're short, in which case you'd at least need a step stool), than this is a suitable option for you.

better experience for jump shot practice
Got it on Prime's Day deal. It's very useful when practicing alone, especially the ball no longer bounced to the street. It's easy to assemble and attach to the ring. Once it's setup, the ball will return to the expected direction. The only problem is that it's not easy to change the returning direction. I either lower the hoop or use a ladder when it's needed.

Lever upp till förväntningarna, gör det den ska. Passformen på delarna inte jättebra vilket kan göra monteringen till lite av en utmaning
