Adventure Time⦠eventually?
I bought this game because I like the series and I figured it would be OK, since the franchise is run entirely by RPG geeks to begin with. This game was not terrible, but it was hard to play it all the way through, since it got really boring after a while. There is almost no character development, a limited variety of items or weapons, and almost no difference in the levels - it's basically the same thing over and over. But I did finish it, because I'm old-school and that's how old-school gamers do - after all, I paid for it. I won't say that his is a game that nobody should get - but I think it should probably be limited to collectors.

I Can Finally Play Again š„°ššš
I had played this game on the play station a while ago and thought about the game every since. The game works fine and wasnāt damaged, the button are an adjustment. š not used to the B button being select but asides from that it is perfect. I had to update my 2Ds system but after it loaded up and I was raiding dungeons āŗļø.

Massive Let Down
In concept, Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon is great - it's a hack and slash gauntlet clone using the Adventure Time characters for variety and humor. In execution, it's awful. The hit detection is poor, the characters feel same-ish, the levels are boring and repetitive, the action is slow, and the game is for the most part humorless. It is hard to think of any way this game could have been made worse.

Love this game
This is a game for any Adventure Time fan, i love all the voice overs and the music is great. Way better than the previous game Hey Ice King Why'd You Steal our Garbage. Every time you play it is is randomized so the levels are never exactly the same. This game is a little on the hard side but that is good, it takes a longer time to play it.

Parts of it are pretty cute. I love the characters of adventure time and was really looking forward to playing this game since I had just finished the Hey Ice King! game. I was extremely disappointed though. The first absolutely obnoxious thing that bothered me was the fact that to select options and move through dialogue you press B instead of A. What game does that? It feels so unnatural. As far as the actual game play, it is incredibly repetitive. You basically explore this dungeon which seems to be randomly generated over and over and over and over again. Endlessly. Every so often you get to come out and spend your loot, but you can't even save up or enjoy your treasure pile because Princess Bubblegum takes back whatever you don't spend before you can go back in the dungeon. It's not a good game. It's not interesting, or inventive, or fun to play. It's just endless tedious repetition. I'd definitely say save your money and skip this game.

Adventure Time
Got this as a Christmas present for my nephew and he loved it. He got stuck on a few levels but was playing it for awhile. I would recommend.

After hearing and reading all the bad reviews about this game, I was going to wait for the price to drop before I got it. I couldn't wait, so I bought it and...it's not that bad. It's an old fashioned dungeon crawler. It can get very repetative. You can't save when you want to, and the graphics for the 3DS version are not so hot, but it's not the worst game I've played. I think people had such high expectations for this game and it disappointed. Yes, it's a big step down from the first game, but I had to try it out for myself. If you lower your expectations, it might be worth a play. It's just a repetative mind-numbing time killer with the name "Adventure Time" stamped on it. If you want to laugh, just watch the TV show. That's where the fun is!
