Excellent product.. i was hesitant seeing the mixed reviews.. but borosil never disappoints .. just go ahead and buy.. my first time waffle itself became very good and perfect.. check the photos for proof.. u need a right recipe to get it perfect.. machine is awesome...

The product is made of steel and good quality plastic.Looks nice but has to be handled with care.It will definitely break into pieces if accidentally dropped.The waffles that come out are delightful.I am trying healthy waffles with rava,corn,oats, with minimum use of oil or butter.Only one side of the waffles gets deep imprints and colour.Makes 2 big waffles.To make it crunchy it has to be kept on a grill at normal temperature to air it out.Bought it at 1790 rupees.The product is good for its price.

Makes perfect fluffy waffles . Easy to use and easy to operate. Value for money .

Cooking under sunlight would be faster than this absolutely useless device. Generations have passed, but waffles are still not done. I don’t see the point of connecting this electricity- it is so low powered they should’ve given the option powering it with a single AA battery. Applying for a job, Saving money, buying flight tickets and going to Belgium will be faster than waiting for the waffles to get done in this machine. By the time waffles are done, warranty for the device will lapse.

Making waffles, as you would realise, are quite different from making toasted sandwiches. Making waffles involves pouring the liquid batter onto the maker and the waffle needs to be fully 1) formed, 2) cooked and crispy on both sides. If any of these three aspects are not there then the waffle is not good. For aspect #1 - Fully Formed (ie peaks on both sides, or nice tall ridges): The batter when poured will settle on the bottom side, and therefore the bottom side of the waffle will be naturally fully formed, but the top side not so much. Since the batter did not fill into the crevices of the top side. One of the ways this may be achieved if the waffle maker could rotate or flip bottom side up mid-way while cooking. But of course this model is not a flip-able one and hence we would be stuck with half high ridges on the top side of the waffles. This is quite disappointing 2/5 For aspect #2 - cooked and crisp on both sides: Whoa! this waffles maker although rated at 1000W takes a good 8-9 mins for each waffle to be fully cooked. And also the bottom tends to get cooked way faster than the top side. So the top side will actually be half-cooked when the bottom side is pretty much done. And crude mitigation is to flip the actual half-done waffles at around 6-7 mins. But of course, since the top side would not have been done yet it could break the waffle while trying to flip it. This is also quite disappointing 2/5 The overall rating is 3/5 since while purchasing itself we knew this was not a flip-able or rotatable waffle maker and the price was not as high as some of the others. But definitely much disappointed. Would strongly recommend others to be wiser and select something else, this will not make waffles like the ones you may have seen or used abroad.

Cleaning depends on how we fill ,over filling cause spillage and it makes hard to clean 2. There should be some marks or measures to avoid over filling . Sometimes while cooking the dough splashes out through the irons making it hard to clean 3. There should be an easy way for the steam to escape easily rather than building up steam inside the waffle machine Which makes us feel insecure standing near. 4. The opening lid is little shaky needed to be corrected

This machine gets the job done but it takes a long time to get the crispy waffle. I have had a different brand machine in the past that when the light turned green, the waffles were ready after about 2 minutes. With this machine, I usually flip the waffles after 2 minutes and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes... So 2 waffles takes approx. 5 minutes each... So you can't be in a hurry with this one. But overall, still manageable and easy to clean unless you drop the batter all over the place.
