To see the nose ring, you may have to zoom in a little on the picture (it’s not the hoop, but the stud on the right side). I was going to take a video but I ended up having my husband do it so I wouldn’t hesitate. It went smoothly and barely hurt. It did make my eyes water and my nose run a tad bit but as soon as the initial pinch is over, that’s as much as there is to the pain. I marked the spot where I wanted it pierced, my husband lined it up and did it, the gun worked exactly as it was supposed to. It didn’t get stuck or pierce only halfway like some say (it may pierce only halfway for some people because it’s intended to be a one time gun, and it says not to squeeze to test because of this or that can mess it up, I wouldn’t know this for sure, but just a thought. So if you think you may hesitate, have someone else do it for you, that would be my suggestion so they do it all on one go). The one and only downfall to this gun, is the jewelry itself. There is nothing wrong with the appearance of it, I love that it’s small and dainty because I was afraid that it would be too big and bulky like some of them are, but this one is super cute and the diamond is nice and sparkly. BUT it’s just a tad bit too long! Be very careful not to rub your nose or hit it on anything or it will stab the shit out of the inside of your nose. The jewelry is sharp as hell and it hurts. I don’t want to change it yet, so I’m stuck pretty much dealing with it until it heals. You probably could change it, but I don’t feel like pushing it through again even if only a little. In the past, with my other nose piercing, I tried to change it a couple days later and it started closing almost immediately, and I had to push it back through a couple layers of skin, and when it’s still sore, this really hurts, so I’m just going to wait. So far, it hasn’t been that big of a deal because I haven’t hit it or rubbed it. I thought that it would get in the way more because it literally goes all the way through almost touching the inside of my nose just sitting there by itself, so if it gets hit at all, it will immediately stab your nose. I wanted to add that it hasn’t bothered me much though, even with it I being super long, because I would definitely buy it again and use it again because I feel like it’s a small problem in comparison to paying $60 getting it done professionally and I would rather go this route again anyway. Overall, I would purchase again. Piercing went smoothly, and I love how the jewelry looks in my nose! If you’re hesitating, don’t. It’s well worth saving $55 and doing it yourself in a matter of minutes. No irritation from the jewelry, other than it being too long, but that’s my only qualm with it.

was easy to use. instructions were spot on. I did my piercing and it only hurt a little tiny bit. no bleeding. it went very quickly and had no problems. the post is long, so it easily went through the nostril. will be purchasing another for a second nostril piercing.

This nose piercing kit worked surprisingly well. It doesn’t hurt, and with just one clip it’s done. I’ve used it several times and it’s very practical and easy to use. I recommend it if you want something quick and simple.

Update: it's 2023 and I just found my old review I never updated. It turns out my piercings with this device migrated out of my nose, or down into the pierced hole within a day. I tried three times. I returned all 3 kits for a refund. People who have had long term success with this may have thinner nostrils than me or something. I think the stud was too short but I also put a longer piercing in it but my nose was extremely irritated. If I pierce my nose again I will do it with a needle or just pay a shop. Bursting through the tissue in your nostril instead of punching a neat hole could cause problems. If you've ever suffered through a cartilage piercing with a piercing gun you will probably understand why a hole is better than pushing your flesh aside and expecting it to stay put. I pierced my nose a bit high and my ring didnt go all the way through, but it almost did, so I've bought another kit, because I blame myself. I wonder how many reviews with this issue were caused by the purchaser placing the device too high on the nostril like I did. I didn't have any pain because I used an ice pack on my nose before I pierced it, and I didn't actually know the piercing HAD to go through the other side, but it started lifting up from the hole and I kept having to push it back down. I tried to push the piercing the rest of the way through my nostril. I frequently do my own piercings. I've done 12, so it's the same concept. Just push the sharp part through. But I couldn't because my nostril was too thick in that area and the piercing was too short. I could feel it inside my nose but I couldn't get it through. I just made myself sneeze repeatedly. Lol That's nother thing that should be considered for people having issues with home piercings. I have thicker, flatter nostrils than many models in piercing ads. After I try this product again I will update my review and post a picture if successful.

I bought this the other day and peirced my nose. It was so easy to use, the stud is the perfect size. Looks and feels great. Would recommend to anyone for a DIY piercing!
