Absolutely wonderful! A must buy!
This microscope is absolutely wonderful! I bought this for my twelve-year-old son and it arrived just two days ago, and he's already obsessed, spending many hours on it per day!!Unlike other microscopes at this price range, this microscope has wonderful features, including prepared slides. As well as this, the size is quite good, with the weight not feeling very toy-ish and more professional.Looking at this microscope myself, the images are crystal-clear, which was a surprise to be honest.I recommend for all age ranges!

Very good choice!
I’m new to the world of microscopes, but as far as I can tell, this was a great choice.Having no trouble using this. We’re using it to track hubby’s fertility 🙈Easy to follow instructions, simple technology, yet feels professional quality, rather than simply a child’s toy standard. Although would be a great gift for budding scientists too.Can see all manor of weird and wonderful microscopic stuff! It also comes with some little bug slides to get you going, and a couple of empty ones to fill with your own interests.Handy case to store it in to prevent any dust getting in the lens.I can’t think of any negatives.I’d definitely recommend!

Just like the ones a school but a bit smaller
The media could not be loaded. I am a high school science teacher with a degree in microbiology. I bought this to have fun at home with my kids (8&6). So far we have done moss safari. The video is using the 10x objective lens with the standard 25x eyepiece. It is perfect. The microscope itself is just like the plug in electric ones we use at school, just a little smaller. Quality is great, really well made. The coarse focus knob is a little stiff but the fine focus is fast enough to use instead. Changing the objective lenses is a little clunky, but I am not complaining given the price. Would recommend to my students and colleagues/friends.

Great value for money!
The media could not be loaded. Amazing value, as you can see from the images, the quality is very good, especially for learners. I recently had a vasectomy and wanted to give my little lads final send off before I can never see them again.

Wow what a quality
I was expecting it to be good based on reviews but honestly this is much better than expected. The zoom is insane and the shrines of the optics is excellent (i am a professional photographer). You can adjust brightness, add coloured filters, micro focus just amazing, 3 lenses, eye pieces+extra eye pieces for extra magnification. It also comes with a lot of additional accessories and excellent samples of bugs and plants. The phone mount helps a lot as your eyes would get tired after a while. It was present for my daughter but all adults were fighting who will have next turn haha

Excellent first step into microscopy.
Good selection of 'bits' that come with it. Magnification from 100x to 2000x in 6 increments. At high magnification the image is dull but great at lower and middle magnifications. User manual is primative, depending on what your interesting in look for tutorials etc on the internet - it worked for me.

Pretty good, needs a better manual.
Pretty good starter microscope. Could have been cleaner, it arrived with some dust on the lens', mirror and eyepiece. The dust cap appears to be missing too.The manual is sadly lacking, as is information on the objective lens'What size are the treads on the objective lens'?
