I park at the back of my house, and sometimes, I have to come in at night. This is the perfect little light to help me see where I am going. Good if you get up in the night and need a little light as well. You simply lift the top and the light is bright, you can adjust brightness by pushing the top down or lifting it up. It has a usb charger and it looks like solar too.

I love this light. I had received a slightly larger version years ago that had a small fan concealed in it. This smaller version doesn't have the fan but it still packs a lot of utility into a lightweight package. The flashlight feature is extremely bright and is turned on using a convenient button (allows one hand operation). The unit pulls up to reveal the lantern function and has two folding handles that can be used to hang the light in camping or work situations. The lantern light is also very bright and illuminates automatically when the unit is pulled up, so avoid staring straight at the unit when expanding to activate the lantern feature. The unit can be charged using the integrated solar panel (just leave on a window sill) or by a short, included charging cable. The unit also has a standard USB port, which can be used to power a cell phone etc. The USB port is not used to charge the unit and no USB cable is included. Can't really go wrong with this light given the price. Really like the black color option. The one I received as a gift is gold color and continues to be as bright as ever, 15 years after I received it.

So I’m reviewing this at 4 stars so others will believe the review. Since there are too many fake 5 star reviews. I’m impressed with these little lanterns. Very nice. I like the design. It looks like something from a star wars movie. I haven’t fully tested them but seemed to last for at least several hours on a charge. Haven’t tested the solar recharge even though they have the panel built in. Pretty cool operation. You can pull the device up and have a nice lantern, or turn sideways and use as a flashlight. These are working fine for me and thinking about buying some more. For the price, you really cant go wrong here. Like it!

Works great very bright and easy to use

These are great little lights. We put them in our AirBnB for emergency lighting. Haven't used the solar option for recharging, but the USB is great since we don't need to worry about batteries. This is nice and basic, with the flashlight option and a lantern when you open it up. No flashing red lights, etc.

I bought this because it's light weight, provides an adjustable ray of light, has two different handle settings and could be easily recharged. I'm using the light to hang in the middle of my 4 nest chicken house at night and it works great. I hang it from a hook, adjust the amount of light I want the birds to have and leave it there all night. It usually works for a couple days and then I remove it one the morning, recharge it during the day and it's ready to go back out that night when I put the birds up. A great low cost, fire safe, nonelectric way to light up your chicken house or other areas.

Worked for several camping trips, but now it no longer gets a full charge from sitting in the sun, and the cable is missing - unfortunately it has an odd charging interface - you can charge USB devices from the lamp, nut the lamp itself has an odd plug, and without it, once it no longer takes a full charge, it's sort of worthless. Good thing this type of lamp is cheap. But the next one I buy will have to have an agnostic input charging port, maybe even charge from USB...

This is the second lantern I have ordered. Very handy in a power outage. Reasonably price. Will order again if needed. Easy to use. The brightness could be just touch brighter for those of us with cataracts but still is very helpful.

My port isn’t straight. When you connect a phone to it, nothing happens 🤷🏻‍♀️ Good, bright light other than that.
