Excellent iron, I bought the teal one and I absolutely love it especially as it was 25% off. The teal one is also a slightly higher wattage (2800 as opposed 2400) and tiny bit heavier. It has been a game changer for me as I love the functionality of being able to use it with or without its cord. No more cords getting tangled or caught up on the ironing board it is brilliant and such a super price. I have had irons over twice the price of this one that aren't as good. It glides beautifully and effortlessly across the fabric, word of warning on it's highest setting it is hot, that is fine on heavier cottons or linen but on light cotton it is better slightly below the maximum setting. To give you an idea using it cordless it can easily iron a pillow case without putting it back n its base. The red light will come on but by the time I've folded the pillowcase it is back to temperature and ready to go. Weight wise it is heavy enough to effortlessly smooth out ironing, especially with the excellent steam function, without being wearisome on the wrist. It is easy to fill, the cord length is super long, it has an excellent wide range of temperature controls, it is the best iron I have ever had and I love it.

Amazing and affordable steam iron! Highly recommend. Looks great and love that it can either be cordless or with the cord, easy to be portable or use anywhere. Nice and compact too, so easy to store. Great temperature control and easy to use with the water and steam.

This iron is useful as it can be used as both locked to the electric base like a standard iron or unlocked from the base and used as a cordless iron. If using as cordless, yes you may need to wait a little longer sometimes for it to heat up but the benefit is it is cordless. The iron is light and work well for my needs. I don’t use steam when ironing so cannot comment on this. The fact you can keep it attached to the base and use as a normal corded iron was important to me and ideal at times. The cord is a little shorter than I would’ve liked but it’s ok for me as I just move nearer the plug socket. The one disappointment with this iron design is that I keep knocking the temperature dial when I pick up the iron as it moves round too easily, the dial needs to be a little stiffer. I’ll live with it but it is a bit of a pain.

We had our old iron for 20 plus years until it finally gave up the ghost and died on us. Things have moved on so much since we last needed to buy an iron and prices go to dizzying heights, but this one seemed to tick all the boxes, was a great price and can be used cordless or corded of which I do not understand how we ever managed before! Great iron, quite light for those of us getting a little older and have arthritic hands developing. Smooth ironing and easy to use.

Irons perfectly, easy to use and being cordless if you want it is just the job.

Like many of the population I have over the years used many irons and I believe I can consider a good one from bad etc. This one ticks all the boxes for me...I have a main generator iron for the home but needed to replace my regular iron for my sewing room. Although 'only' an iron, along with obviously the iron working how I need it to, I also look at aesthetics and how I think the iron would feel to actually use; I also wanted a cordless iron. I had expected to pay a lot more for a cordless iron...a good cordless iron but I have to say that I am very pleased indeed with this one. I love the colour and the feel of the iron and it works exactly as it should. I love the shape and the fact that the edge of the iron gets hot too for tight spots (in between buttons etc). It is very simple to use and to fill with water, there is a lock switch for switching from cordless to locked and both feel great when using. When the iron is locked, the iron feels really nicely substantial which I like and if I need to use cordless than that is great. Obviously if you are ironing a lot of clothing you would get best results from using the iron locked to maintain the heat but it also holds enough heat for me when ironing my pieces of fabric cut outs etc. Overall I say this is a great cordless iron at a great price...others are around £20 more: albeit branded irons but I'm confident that this iron is more than adequate to compete with the higher priced ones. Certainly recommended and how can you go wrong with such a great price point too. If you are not used to this brand...neither am I as probably the first time I have used a Tower iron, give it a go, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Great lightweight product great you can use this with or without the chord. I’ve only used once this did leak a lot of water when heating up. Maybe it was just because it was the first use. Other than that it ironed great, heated up fast, removed creases easily and a lot of settings to iron on. The chord length is great but can use without it needed.

UPDATE: After about a month of use the steam button got stuck down and now no longer works. So disappointing as I love everything else about this iron. Fantastic iron. Makes ironing so much easier. Have always used more expensive iron brands but this by far has been the best iron I have had so far and the more expensive ones just don't compare. This glides effortlessly and makes ironing so much easier and quicker. Love the fact that you can use it wired or wireless. Nice powerful steam that gets rid of creases. Isn't too heavy to hold either. Well worth the money!

good iron and bauble use

This iron is great. I bought a UK to Australian plug adapter to use with the iron. It heats up quickly when in cordless mode. I used it to iron linen tea-towels and it was better than my corded iron. Will be recommending to family and friends.
