Worked Like a Charm (I Think)
I just moved into a new house with 3 other roommates, 2 of whom own cats. The roommate who lived in the bedroom I now occupy also had a cat, and it was prone to having fleas. I move in, no pet, but to my dismay, I'm the only one in the house whose room is plagued with fleas. The landlord had steam cleaned my room twice prior to me moving in, and I had seen the house on several occasions, both before and after the previous occupant moved out, and there were no fleas. I guess the eggs were dormant for a while and decided to hatch to feast upon me. I notified one of my new roommates, who quickly set about flea bombing my room to no avail! In the meantime, I had been doing research so I already had this Adams Spray en route (as well as other products that I will mention shortly). The day it arrived, I sprayed my carpet and let it sit for a couple of hours (the instructions recommend letting it sit for at least one hour). I went in my room, stood still for a few moments. Usually the fleas attack my feet within seconds, I stood for several minutes, no fleas. My roommate vacuumed my room, and she had some food grade diatomaceous earth on hand (this ain't her first go-round with fleas), and she sprinkled a layer of this in every nook and cranny of my room. I let it sit overnight while I slept in a flea-free part of the house. In the meantime, I set up a Victor's flea trap, which consists of a light bulb and some sticky paper. In doing further research, I read that recreating one of these traps is as easy as having a desk lamp and a dish of soapy water, but that's neither here nor there. I checked the trap several times throughout the night, no fleas. I checked once more this morning, there was one flea stuck to the trap, a very dead flea. I again stood in several parts of the room, no fleas. So it's been 24 hours since I've used this Adams room spray, and I've yet to see a live flea. But as it's only been 24 hours, I'll remain vigilant. Also, because I just moved in, I was able to quickly and easily remove everything from my bedroom because I discovered the fleas before unpacking anything but my bedding. I also purchased a new mattress and box spring prior to moving in, and had a mattress cover on my mattress. So I will say that having an empty room and a protected mattress worked to my advantage. I also purchased the Vet's Best room spray for my bedding, mattress, box spring, and upholstered headboard for extra protection. Long story short: It's been 24 hours since using this spray in my empty bedroom, followed by vacuuming and a sprinkling of food grade diatomaceous earth, and I've yet to see a live flea in my bedroom. I'll update accordingly. UPDATE 5/21/2017: It's been four days. I found 3 more dead fleas on my sticky trap, which is odd because the trap was just sitting in a corner in my room, NOT turned on. Also, there was a live flea crawling on my arm today, and I sprayed it with the Vet's Best spray and it died instantly. I emptied my room once more and did another thorough spray with the Adams spray. So four days later, no new flea bites, 3 more dead fleas, and 1 live flea. I'll continue to update. I know it takes at least two weeks to be completely rid of fleas using this product, so I still stand behind my 5-star rating. 7/27/2017 UPDATE: It's been a little over 2 months since my last update, so I thought I'd share my final verdict. There have been no more fleas or flea bites since my last update. However, the fleas may have migrated to my roommate's bedroom, because she ended up with a worse infestation than mine in her bedroom. She too used the Adams spray, and all has been well. Also, as a precautionary measure, I sprayed another round of Adams in my room so the fleas wouldn't find their way back to my bedroom. So far, so good. No fleas, no bites, and should I encounter either, I'll know what to do. Although I used several products, this Adams spray was an integral part of getting rid of these fleas. 10/10 would recommend. 6/14/2025 UPDATE: It’s been about 8 years since my last review, and I was making recommendations to a friend with a flea problem, and had to recall this pretty devastating time in my life (dramatic I know, but this is the perspective of someone who didn’t grow up with pets so had no prior experience with fleas). I’m happy to report that after the July 2017 update, I encountered NO MORE FLEAS FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS. I moved out of that house in August of 2021, not because of the fleas, but because I moved across the country and got a place on my own. In those 4 years, I cycled through a couple more roommates, none of whom had any residual flea problems. I obviously don’t know the state of that home currently, but as the last remaining roommate with the flea problem, my entire home was flea-free for 4 years, even though the roommates with the cats moved out within my last year of living in that house. I haven’t had to deal with fleas since then, but if I do, I’m glad I know what to do. Provided the formula doesn’t change, Adam’s Best is definitely the way to go.

MUST BUY!!!
This is the ONLY flea spray that worked out of the dozens I tried im not even exaggerating. I sprayed this under my bed and on my mattress+ box spring and vacuumed every day for a week, and the fleas are gone! I also sprayed it on my couch. I have a newborn baby so I kept the baby out of the room for 24hrs and there’s been no problems. The smell goes away pretty fast too. I highly HIGHLY recommend this if you’re struggling with fleas. It doesn’t just kill the adults, it kills the larvae and eggs as well. I wish I knew about this months ago. Our indoor cats somehow got fleas and we struggled so bad to get rid of them. This stuff works! I always keep some in my household now.

Holy Grail, Hoping They Release Bundle Options!
This spray works wonders! My cat recently had a bad case of fleas, which I was able to help control by applying a topical treatment and flea collar. Unfortunately, I then had to tackle the issue with fleas in my bedding and sofa. This was never an issue for me previously, and it was awful trying to get rid of this issue. I tried vacuuming daily, constantly washed my sheets and pillows, and even purchased a Diatomaceous Earth powder to sprinkle all over the couches and rugs. While this slightly helped, it didn't fully kill off any of the flea eggs (which were the root of the problem). I immediately noticed a difference after spraying this. While I did have to spray all target areas twice daily, I noticed that it killed off all fleas within a few days. My only complaint is that you go through the bottle quickly, due to the fact that you have to be diligent in spraying everything. Once the bottle started running low, it became a bit difficult to spray any product out, even if I tilted the bottle. A lot of people seem to have mixed opinions on the scent - the first time I used this, it smelled strongly of chemicals. However, every time after that smelled pretty tame in comparison to the first application. Not sure if it's because I got used to the scent or if it's because I started shaking the bottle prior to using. Definitely not a fresh or natural scent, it smells kind of like a chemical cleaning agent to me. I don't mind as long as it gets rid of the problem! Besides, the scent is very faint and hardly noticeable once it dries down. Also, I recommend spraying this only during times where you or your pet are not going to be near the treated areas. You can never be too safe, and I wouldn't want this irritating me or my fur baby. Additionally, expect any bedding or fabric to remain damp for half an hour or so after applying. I have purchased this item twice, and I hope they eventually list a bundle option. It's a great product to have on hand and really gets the job done. Should go without saying, but please don't spray this directly onto your pets! This is solely for fabric and furniture, and you should use with caution to prevent your pet from inhaling or ingesting this product. If you happen to get this on yourself by accident, it's very easy to wash off. In terms of effectiveness, I rate it a 5/5. As for the nozzle, scent, and price, 4/5 (please come out with larger bottles or bundle options!)

Safe and Effective
100% recommended. It works fast. My pet had a terrible flea infestation that I'm ashamed of letting develop. I didn't take action until months had gone by and they had Total taken over the house. I honestly sprayed the entire house with two bottles. I had bought one and it seemed to work so I bought two more. I still have a bottle and a half, but ever since I last sprayed I haven't had any fleas around and I would tend to get an ant swarm every half year or so but they haven't shown up either. I also used the same brand shampoo. After spraying, I didn't see them around the house but they were still on her for a while. While they were on her they didn't seem to stick anywhere else and once I washed her a few times, I'm so happy to not see her relentlessly scratch and to pet her without any scabs or debris or bugs on her. I sprayed leather couches, wood, steel, porcelain, I even sprayed my clothes and bed. My final note, I even sprayed my body with this. That's how bad our problem had gotten. It was perfectly safe on MY arms and legs. I didn't even check to see if this product was skin safe, but I had no effects other than ending the pest problem. I am not suggesting that you use it in that way, I am only sharing my experience. As I'm reflecting on this now, I did this to my legs multiple times. I only sprayed the most infested spots of the house twice, the second time was only to put my mind at ease, but just the one time spray for most of the house was fine. I'm not a licensed expert, I'm only sharing my opinion. Since I sprayed my legs many times, my opinion is that it does not absorb or stick to the skin and washes off easily. I also had to respray my sheets, so it must wash off of that well. I keep thinking of additional things to mention. I sprayed my pets eating area, drinking bowl, eating bowl (WASHED BOTH OF THEM OF COURSE) and litter box. She's fine. The shampoo smells alright and leaves her fur scented with its "non scent" but also leaves a sort of coat that doesn't completely rinse or scrub off, however, it doesn't seem to be dangerous. I rinse what I can and she licks herself, and I kiss her (no tongue) and this product overall seems very safe. Doesn't seem to affect spiders. Though haven't sprayed them directly. Spare spiders, they'll get the real bugs.

Just get it! It won't disappoint.
This was my 1st time using this product. I was impressed. The product quality and size is good. It appears to be safe for pets. Somehow my inside cat got fleas. I used a combination of capstar pills which worked great for the adult fleas and bought 2 bottles of this Adams flea & tick home spray, and some natural flea repellent treats. Not gonna lie I prob spent close to $150 on everything. I sprayed all the furniture in my house (even my leather couch). It does have a smell but it's not overpowering. Most impressed with how fast this stuff dries and has had no effect on my cat or even my own skin. I've sprayed this on my sheets, let dry and slept in it..lol (I dispise fleas!). It did not irritate my skin, sinuses, throat, or lungs. What ever smell there is dissipates in minutes. 2 bottles was plenty for reapplication of a sm front room, 2 couches, fabric chair, area rug, and 2 beds/bedroom areas. It has taken weeks to get rid of them and still finding some (smh fleas? or flea poop) in her fur when I brush her but it's getting better every week. Trying to avoid having to use liquid flea treatment on her skin if I can because it's so toxic. I Sprayed my mattress, putt my sheets over it, wash my sheets/blanket once a week, and have sprayed my box spring a couple times the 1st week. All I have seen (if anything) on my sheets in the last 2 weeks is a few dead fleas so I know it's working. It doesn't kill absolutely everything the 1st week (I don't think anything does). Getting rid of fleas 100% takes time but this stuff has helped a lot.

Working so far
I mainly got this because this product contains IGR. It seemed to be working two weeks ago. I saw some fleas today (guessing it’s the “new” ones hatching considering their lifecycle and how they behave.) so I sprayed my room with it, waiting for it to work again to give me some relief. When I used this the first time, I waited over 2 hours just to be safe. My cat seemed fine. I do have to say it definitely smells like chemical, not the most pleasant thing to smell but if it works, I’m not complaining.

Stops all new fleas when used as directed
I had a flea infestation after the Amazon flea and tick topical stopped working for my cats. We were trying everything to get the infestation out and even our vet said it would be super hard to get them out of carpet. I used this once around all the carpeted areas and the furniture that we don’t sleep on. I still had to vacuum to get the fleas to hatch but once all the ones that were there before the product was sprayed was gone, we had no more fleas! Warning, it will take probably 1-1.5 months to get the fleas gone if you don’t vacuum everyday. I sprayed once but will use it to spray again in 6 months like the directions say to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

WORKS FAST AND NO HORRIBLE ODOR!!!
No bothersome odor. This spray works wonders. I use it often in my dogs pet bed and throughout the home. It doesn’t have a strong chemical odor and doesn’t smell like “bathroom spray”! It is actually very effective and doesn’t take long to work!
