Leave it open and let it dry!
These are genuinely good smoke sploofs. I have used 1 for 2 months with regular daily use! Every night leave it open and let it air out. The filter gets hard to blow through eventually so leave it open and use a second one for a week. Then the original will be like new, but shorter time before it gets resistance. Resin causes this. Rinse filter out with isopropyl alcohol, leave yo completely air out. Repeat for log lasting use. Interested in trying out the v4 now

Not designed for easy clean/dry
Did it work? Yeah! In fact for the first week it was my new favorite - but then pulling it apart became problematic - I added a hair-tie for a nice gap on the lid for pulling apart... Within another week and failing to open it up after each additional medicated peaceful moment: it was clogged. Alcohol, microwave, etc - various cleaning methods aside, it never functioned quite like that first week. My final conclusion: poor design for easy care. I expected a button or SOMETHING with as important as opening them up is after each use... so if you're an absent minded toker with much life going on - I can't recommend this for you.

Everything you need to know about smoke filters and this one...............
......is a rip off! Someone commented that it blocked most of the smoke, but not the smell. That's because this is only a partial filter system. It has nothing but a pleated paper filter. This will block smoke for a while, but it takes activated charcoal to remove the smell, and, I suspect, any drug content. I learned that it's the paper that stops the smoke, when I bought a jar of activated charcoal of the appropriate size and made my own charcoal filter with a piece of PVC pipe. It didn't block any smoke, at all!. Smoke Buddy has both, though they put the paper filter last, and make it a permanent filter that cannot be changed. If Smoke Buddy were smart, they'd offer this with a replaceable paper filter, and they'd put it first, instead of the charcoal. But, they'd rather keep on selling new units! I've learned how to make a Smoke Buddy last from 6 months to a year, depending on what it's used with, and how often it's used. I use mine to smoke concentrates in my bedroom, because I have a military Macaw (parrot), and exposing her to the 2nd hand smoke would be very bad for her. I generally take 3 to 4 big hits nightly. To make the Smoke buddy last a long time, I stuff it with cotton balls at the mouth piece end. This does cause a bit of resistance, over how it blows without the balls. But, it's not that bad, at all. Then, when it starts to get too hard to blow into it, I remove the contaminated cotton balls and put in new ones. This greatly extends its life. 12/26 - UPDATE: While I stand by most of what I stated above, it may be that I was mistaken to say that there is no charcoal in this filter. It does appear that there may be a thin layer at the bottom, after the pleated filter. When I've exhausted the filter, I'll cut it open and verify this. But, it appears that their thinking was to use a larger paper filter than Smokebuddy does, placing it before the carbon, instead off after it & using more surface area in the paper filter to make it last longer before it plugs up. The charcoal in the Smokebuddy is what plugs up 1st. By putting it last, they think they can get away with using less of the expensive charcoal, as the paper being first will catch most of the resin, allowing the charcoal to remain clear. It will remain to be seen if this proves true. but, I see 2 problems with that. The amount of charcoal used is too little to be thoroughly effective at blocking oder. Also, their statement that it's moisture that causes them to plug up, I strongly disagree with. It's resin that pugs them up. When you've plugged one up, try this: Put some 99% iso alcohol in a small bottle with lid. Draw the hottest water that you can from your kitchen sink into a pan large enough to submerge the bottle with the alcohol. Place the bottle of alcohol, with the lid on tight, into the hot water to heat the alcohol (NEVER USE ANY OTHER METHOD TO HEAT THE ALCOHOL, OR YOU WILL EXPERIENCE A BAD FIRE AND BURNS). Now, as fast as the filter will allow it, pour the heated alcohol through the filter. Notice how dark it is when it comes out, loaded with resin. Do it several times. Now, shake as much of the liquid out of the filter as you can, and then allow it to dry for a few hours. Now go back and blow through it. Notice how much easier it is now. That's because of the resin you've removed, not because of moisture. I still feel that the SmokeBuddy is the superior product, especially if used with cotton balls.

Definitely worth the money 🤑
Hey buddy told me about these told me I should get one so I finally got one I was not expecting for it to do much but legit does not matter what you blow into it there is a light smell if you have someone to put their nose right underneath the filter and breathe through it. PS. I was given a letter to comment on which mouth tip I like the most and I'm going to have to go with the soft rubber it fit and felt a lot better on the mouth then the harder rubber the harder rubber is nice because it's easier to take off the top of the device versus the soft rubber it's a little bit harder to take off the top but I'm okay with it because I like the soft top.

Fail only lasted 2-3 weeks.
This lasted me 2 weeks. It does not last longer than a smokebuddy they are about the same. They all last me around 2-3 weeks. Smoke buddy eliminates odors better as well. Let me be clear this is not an advertisement for smoke buddy. I think they suck and are over priced. I was hoping for a longer lasting option but this is not it. 😫 I cleaned it every week and dried it completely. This product is a FAIL for me.

Okay
It's good no smoke comes out.... But it gets clogged after a few puffs to the point you can't blow anything through it because it gets clogged from the moisture from blowing. And you have to wait 2 or 3 days for it to dry to be able to use again. Take forever to dry It's a hassle and frustrating compare to the smokebuddy. You would have to buy like 3 or 4 to rotate using them if u use it alot in 1 day. Waste of money if your a heavy smoker. If u smoke like once every couple days then it'll be perfect for you.
