Pretty sure this actually saved my life. I have gasteoperisis and cannot tolerate most solid foods. Usually about the best you can hope for in sole-source nutrition formulas is "not-gross" and this is a step above. Is vanilla boring after the umpteenth day? Sure. But considering all they have to cram into it, the taste is tolerable for sure and almost good. It is low volume and high protein which meets my needs to a T. I was suffering from pretty bad malnutrition when I started and have regained almost all my hair in about 3 months!

Doctor prescribed to me at a time I was il and severely underweight. One shake a day helped me build up my protein requirements so that I could gain back muscles. A bit too thick and sweet for me so I always poured it over ice and drank slowly. Very filling with a bunch of fruit or salad with lots of vegetables in it or add more protein by eating a wrap or sandwich with low sodium cheese and low sodium deli meats if you can eat solid food. It is a fine meal replacement if you can't.

My elderly mother was losing weight and seemed to be wasting away, She has been drinking the 2 Cal HN every day and has been gaining weight. She seems to like the taste better when we add chocolate syrup to it. At first we gave her 2 cans peer day. Now that she has gained weight and is more alert, she has started eating more regular food. She drinks at least one can a day now to maintain her weight. This a great product!

2019 I a year I would rather forget, but it forever changed me. I had cancer of my tonsil, I therefore had to have a feeding tube put in my stomach. This product kept me alive. I could not swallow due to the pain. This product was given to me by my team of doctors, it seems to agree with me. As they ran out I tried something else that didn't like me, so I found it on amazon. I was grateful. was a bit spendy but I had to have it.

I received a good chunk of my 2500 daily calories during tonsil cancer treatment with TwoCal-HN. It was an acquired taste, but I learned to like it and drank 1.5 cans per day with a straw throughout treatment, and 3 weeks post treatment. I would have drank more each day, but the ingredients had too much non-natural stuff. I also drank Orgain protein powder mixed in 8 oz coconut or rice milk, which I preferred because it was more natural, but only had about 1/3 the calories per 8 oz as the Two-Cal HN. Another alternative I would like to have tried is “Boost Very High Calorie.”

This is super high calorie and is meant to be taken in four portions, not all at once. It's got more calories per ounce than a standard supplement. Especially good for someone who really can't take much at a time. Directions say it can be used as tube feeding too, and serve as full nutrition.

TwoCal meets the need for a high calorie, high nutritional drink for people with medical issues. It is easy to enhance the taste by adding fruit or flavorings.

For those of us able to be active and working yet needing a tube feeding product, this is the best. I've used this product as my daily "bread" for 16 years and counting. For most of us, 4 cans a day suffices. One needs to add water with the 2Cal and in addition, not only to thin down the formula, but for best nutrion and hydration.
