GSSMS Stealth Side Mounting System

Just what I needed.

I purchased this because I made the mistake of buying the 400c rack system instead of the 450c trying to save money and not realizing that the 400c is for a very small trap set. My large set caused the 400c rack to tip over so I was forced to purchase this side mounting system along with two additional 36" and one 30" straight pipe to gain a complete 450c rack. An expensive mistake. Note: if you have any heavy drum larger than a 13" X 12" beware that a round pipe (even with locks on the Clamps) will not prevent the drum from rotating around the pipe. Other than that I have no complaints with GIBRALTAR.

False advertising!!! They make it look like it is sold in pairs. The main photo shows two stands. They never say if it’s one or two! The hardware is solid. The vendor is grifting and on the take which is a shame.

I love this rack! I didn't want some giant tube monstrosity holding my set captive. I just wanted to clean up the many tri-pod legs clogging up the floor to the left of my kit. I couldn't have custom ordered a better solution. This thing is frickin solid also. Whoa!It comes with sleeve fittings for both towers that allow you to insert a 1", 7/8" or 3/4" tube. That's a nice and useful touch by the folks at G.

Amazing little setup don't have to commit to a full rack system which I think is totally 80s and not my style. this is easy and convenient . you don't have to carry multiple cymbal stands with you from show to show . Gibraltar made it easy for me the only thing it gets pricey if you need to mount multiple symbols. But for the basic setup it was relatively inexpensive.

Pictures clearly show 2 racks. Nothing in description at top states there actually being only 1 included at this price. Disappointed. Looks solid, but at the price for the 2 I need, I could get a rack system. Don't be fooled.

I used a classic Gibraltar rack for years. But when I went to a smaller trap kit, it became a bit of an overkill and opted for more traditional mounting. But this meant dealing with a plethora of tripod stands which tend to limit the number of cymbals one can add. Then I discovered the Steal Mounting system. Not only are these mounts strong and balanced, but they provide a very cool look to your kit. I couldn't be more happy with my current setup with uses two of these racks.
