Works great and easy to use

I installed this thermostat in a mobile home to control the temperature for an electric furnace and an air conditioner. Worked perfectly! The old thermostat became unreliable and would not always allow the heater to operate, on demand. I checked all the other components with the heater and found all were functioning properly, with no issues or defects. So, I replaced the thermostat as a last resort. BINGO! Get you one!

It’s so easy to install. I only use the heating part because I don’t have central A/C. I bought the first one years ago because my mother who had Alzheimer’s would always turn the heat way up. With this one she couldn’t figure how to turn the heat and it saved me over a $1.0K every winter in oil heat.

The ambient temperature reading on the device is always about 1°C away from the true temperature. As far as I know, there isn’t any way to calibrate.
