A renter's quick that looks good
This got the job done and it was affordable. The process is relatively easy and the kit walks you through each step. If you do it right, the repair is hardly noticeable. Good for apartments and renters.

Great product. Works very well
I had a small chip (1/8"w x 3/16"l x 1/16" deep) in the bottom of the shower. After shopping and reading reviews this product appeared to be the best. IMO they should give more instructions for using a smaller amount. 1/2 jar is probably going to be way too much for most repairs. I used an amount equal what I could dip out with the stick. Probably about the size of the end of my little finger. I mixed in 2 drops of hardener. I applied it with a small, flat toothpick which worked very well. Pushed it into the chip and then overfilled it as directed to account for shrinking. After about an hour I checked what I had on the small piece of cardboard and it was fairly well set but still very slightly pliable. I never wanted to sand this so what I did is to take a brand-new razor blade and carefully slice off small slices off the stop until it was flush. It worked out perfectly! No sanding and re-sanding and polishing or any of that. I wanted to avoid sanding because when that is done you are taking away some of the existing gelcoat which seem counterintuitive to me. You have to be careful and hold the razor blade parallel with the surface but IMO this is the best way to do this in my particular situation.

Works pretty good, smells VERY strong
I used this product to patch some small chips in my tub. The color matched well and it was easy enough to apply. This stuff smells very strong. So strong in fact that you can smell it through the box. Once I was done, I had to put this stuff in 2 ziploc bags, then stuff them inside an old toolbox so it didnt stink up my garage cabinet. As for the bathroom, I kept the fan on and the door open and it only took about a day for it to fully air out. Results look decent, im happy with it at least.

Fixed an 8" hairline crack in my fiberglass shower. 6 months worth of daily showers, no issues!
Our fiberglass shower enclosure had a crack in it that kept expanding over time. While taking showers I'd watch the water run down the wall surface and seep into the crack and I kept thinking "I really should do something about that." After doing a bunch of research I landed on this product, and I obtained kits in both white and biscuit. The biscuit was the better option for my shower's color. Stuff include in the repair kit: Alcohol wipe, two part compound mix, sandpaper, polish, and a wooden spreader similar to a tongue depressor. Stuff I also needed for the repair and already owned: an old towel, a metal file, a blade, a plastic scraper, gloves, and cardboard scraps. 1) I enlarged the crack with my blade, making extra space for the compound to fit into. 2) I roughed up the surrounding surface with sandpaper to ensure it would adhere well. 3) Cleaned up with a vacuum cleaner and wiped down all surfaces with the alcohol. I waited for that to air dry, about 10 minutes. 4) Mixed several drops of hardener (clear tube) with the biscuit colored gel. Open a window first, the stuff is potent. 5) Spread into the crack while the compound is still soft. It will harden over time but I got my repair area filled within a few minutes. 6) I waited 2 hours for it to harden and then started wet sanding. First with 400 grit, then with 600 grit. I really had to take my time with this step to get the surface smooth and to sand away most of the compound to get the filled portion even with the original surface. 7) Once the surface was even, the surrounding area was dull by comparison to the other areas of the shower. Using a cloth rag, rub the included polish all over the repair area and surrounding areas. 8) Let dry for a day or two. All in all I'm satisfied with the repair. I think the finished patch is only slightly noticeable. From 10 feet away you can't see it, and when you're in the shower you probably won't notice it unless you know to look for it. 5 stars!

Kitchen sink repair UPDATE
UPDATE! After about 1 week, the patch started to peel away from the surface. It was worth a try, but it didn’t work. This was a repair to an IKEA ceramic sink. The sink is 11 years old and of course they don’t make it anymore. And of course the cabinet that the sink fits into is custom for that sink, so sink replacement wasn’t a viable option either. So I used this kit to repair it. The hole in my sink was right in the corner so it was hard to spread and hard to sand, but being patient I took my time and got it done. I used epoxy to glue the broken pieces back in place, then I put this repair over top. It is not a color match, but it’s good enough. It seems strong, and hopefully it will last a while.

It won’t disappoint!
Purchased this based off of others reviews as I normally do. Overall, very impressed. Color did not match exactly but didn’t expect it to since there are probably over 100 varieties of what companies consider white. The chip on my tub was about the shape of a half sized quarter. Took quality painters taped and shaped the area I wanted filled. Used the Harbor Freight’s version of a dremel and sanded down the area within the tape. Directions call for a 1/16” depth. Used the alcohol wipe supplied and cleaned the area. Before mixing the epoxy, turn on the vent fan. The odor is very strong until it sets. Directions call for 1/2 oz. gel mixed with 3-5 drops hardener. I mixed only 1/4 oz with 3 drops and still had enough left over to fill the same area again. Filled the hole as smooth as I could using the stick provided. Don’t apply too thick or you’ll need extra sandpaper after it sets. Epoxy sets in 20 minutes. Once mixed, work it immediately. When happy with the fill, perfection not necessary, remove the tape and let it harden. Directions state 1-3 hours. To be safe, I let it set overnight but that was my preference. Unless you know exactly how much gel you’re using, have ideal temperature and humidity, better to wait. Sand and polish as directed. Was definitely an easy job.

I noticed a flaw in the gel coat of a shower base after it’s installation and successfully repaired it with the Tub and Shower Repair Kit. The instructions were helpful and the process was quite easy. I used a rotary power tool for polishing after sanding and while the color is off, the end result is quite acceptable.

Purchased this to fix a chip in a shower pan. The pan is bright white and this is marketed as bright white, I know there are countless shades of white and this was not bad, but the color difference was noticeable on a small 1.5" x 1/16" chip. So far the product has worked as advertised, sanded well, smell was not bad considering what I've read on the reviews, easy to use, good instructions. The polishing paste amount is minimal and if you are going to use the full amount I suggest you get more paste. Same with the sandpaper. I was surprised and disappointed that inside the shipping box was a label for this product indicating it cost of $16.99, when I paid $39.99. Everything is over inflated in price and I see this is no exception. I Wish Amazon would work more to keep their customers happy with reasonably price items.
