It was so easy
I bought a small power washer and I read that I should lubricate the pump. The large power washer I had in Seattle and took with me to Kingsland, GA. had never lubricated the pump before. I will say the water it Kingsland, GA. is hard water. So when I downsized to a small, newer one, I thought it would be a good idea to buy something to lubricate the pump. I looked online how to do it and their suggestions - YouTube. I watched a few of the how-to and this is the brand they showed it was easy. So I stopped by a couple of the local big name box hardware stores, I thought it was a little expensive. I try within reason, knowing there's an overhead for the brick and motor stores, so I don't mind paying a little over. But it was more than twice what it is on Amazon, so I bought two cans on Amazon. It was easy, I had the foresight to put cardboard down for I know I was using a lubricant of some sort, which can be messy. So I did what the instruction I read, threaded the can onto the water intake. Flip the top of the knob and push the button, what came out first was a water then the lubricant and stopped. It was that easy, because I have hard water I'm going to do it often to save the pump.

Works Great x2 or 3
My eldest son gifted me with a nice gas-powered pressure washer, so I got the manual and read up on maintenance procedures and user reviews. Many mentioned using a good quality pump preservative to prevent seals from drying out and premature wear. Lots of folks seemed to complain about the squeeze bottles offered as being too hard and cumbersome to apply. Enter the well-known STA-BIL brand. I bought two cans, knowing I would be using the pressure washer on several big jobs - paver driveway, vinyl siding, etc. STA-BIL did not disappoint. Application couldn't be easier - screw into the inlet of your pressure washer pump, open cap, press button... VIOLA! Your machine's pump is protected. Caution - this stuff shoots out with some vigor, fills the pump quickly, and exits just as quickly. I fashioned an old 1/2 gallon milk jug to catch any excess from the nearby orifice where the wand attaches to the pump. Glad I did that, otherwise I'd have the slippery stuff all over my garage floor. I've used this twice over the weekend, and I can recommend with a high degree of confidence. As long as you're prepared for the preservative to exit the machine you'll be fine. This is a well-conceived designed that solves the issue of having to squeeze a bottle to inject the solution into the machine's pump. My old back is aching from riding that pressure washer for several hours, I can sleep confidently knowing my tool is protected. Use sparingly and get at least 2 applications, possibly 3. Highly recommended.

Worked Well
I'd never heard of this product until I saw it used on a YouTube video called "Ambition Strikes." I ordered it then used it on my pressure washer after changing the oil. Mine is three years old, but I didn't have any gunk come out, but I'm glad I used it, as I'm sure it has other benefits. Worst case I spent a few bucks and it did no harm. Haven't used the pressure washer since, but I don't regret giving this a try. Wish I could sing higher praises, but that's the best I got. :-)

Good electric pressure washer protector if stored outside in the Midwest
Good protector for my electric pressure washer. I store it in a shed outside year round. Chicago at times can dip below zero so this is a must-have to prolong life.
