I had a skin tear on the upper inside of my thigh. I needed something to protect the wound from rubbing and something to protect it from urine and fecal matter. Most of the time the adhesive worked really well. I recommend having lotion or a wet cloth nearby to help loosen it. A couple of the bandages did not adhere well. I used first aid tape on those. Also, the adhesive can come loose in sections. Keep in mind, that it was getting a lot friction when I walked. The padding part is good. For my situation, I would have preferred it to be even thicker. In fact, at times, I used another type of bandage over it. At times, a little urine did leak in but, the pad caught it and did not let it get to the wound. As for price, I think it is way too expensive but, even with the adhesion problems, I find it to be a great bandage. Even though, I rated the value for the money low, I think the cheaper products will not perform as well. I just simply think that the best bandage of this sort should not cost so much.

Does an amazing job on wound care.

Works well in arts that don't have a lot of movement, does not stick too well in areas that move.

these work well, prices for these and similar can be good to outrageous, but they do work on bed sores, stick fairly well, would recommend these to anyone that needs them, shop around on amazon, for different company and price, make sure to read quantity ,and compare prices for the 5-10 pack, dont forget size, 4x4 worked best for us.

I'm a nurse and got bit by a dog a very bad bite. Taking care of it I tried many dressings and like bandaid dressings, all tegaderm type products and tape it rips my skin coming off. So the skin around my wound was also bad. This dressing is so great. Waterproof completely I can swim 1 hour a day and does not get a drop inside, then take a shower after that with no water. They don't stick to the wound hardly and they don't pull my skin off. Of every thing I used and it takes over a month to get a deep dog bite to close (not heal completely) I appreciate these dressing more than anyone knows. No more ripping my skin off removing DRESSINGS and I can still swim everyday!!!! LOVE THESE.

As advertised. Good product for wound care.

This doesn't stick well. It doesn't hold as much exudate as you would think and if you don't put a thin layer of petroleum jelly on the wound side of the dressing, the dressing will stick to the wound vastly slowing down healing and causing skin tears because of maceration. Put alginate under the dressing if you have heavy exudate. It will speed healing. Silver alginate if there is any sign of infection. I was disappointed.

These dressings are great if you have thin skin that breaks easily. My mums skin on her legs are like tissue paper and these are the only dressings she can use without breaking the skin when taken off.
