I used it for my radio and could fit 3 AA batteries into each one.

A friend suggested this is a good way to stop damage from leaky D cell batteries in vintage electronics and boy is that great idea! Beyond that they'll last a very long time using lithium cells- perhaps years.

Good alternative battery adapter. The ability to use 3 cells instead of one allows for more efficient battery alternatives to original size. The plastic case also provides an added benefit of becoming a barrier between the battery and the device’s battery holder to prevent corrosion from damaging the device. If the batteries leak, the adapter can be tossed instead of ruining the device’s battery box. Saved a flashlight from leaking batteries when left in the device too long.

I bought this for a portable radio. Instead of using 12 rechargeable batteries (3 in each cell), I determined I only needed 2 in each cell. It's just a radio, small current draw. It would work with 1 AA battery in each cell but I used 2. Perfect. The plastic and metal are not very solid so put the AA's in carefully.

This adapter does what it advertised. I have used it to adapt my rechargeables and saved a lot of money. I use them fishing to power my bait aerators. No need to purchase additional battery sizes from remote controls and flashlights. Good buy.

This product held the batteries fine and looks like it’s built well but the circumference is just a bit to large to fit into my flashlight. It may fit if I sand it down.

Solidly built and is so much more convenient than constantly replacing high drain “D” cells.
