Works Great
This is an inexpensive headset that works great with my Cisco phone. Since Covid has taken over and I'm working from home I've also been able to use the adapter and plug straight into my computer. Sound is good and I've had no once complain about background noise on my end.

VOIP & Telework
I have 2 VOIPs on my laptop: Cisco IP Communicator (CIPC) and Cisco Jabber. I bought this headset for when I telework 2 to 3 days a week. I prefer CIPC but found that this headset works better for me with Jabber. I'll give you my feedback based on the speakers, mic, call quality, cord, and comfort. Speakers With CIPC I found that the sound quality of the speakers had a funky, tinny, alien sounding echo that I couldn't eliminate no matter how many adjustments I tried. With Jabber, there was still somewhat of an echo but not as bad. Also, if you're on a call, be aware that moving a little bit can cause some interference with the speakers. The volume of the speakers was incredible! Super loud. I would suggest letting the headset hang around your neck when you first try it out until you adjust the volume so you don't jump out of your seat the first time your hear something. And, you can only adjust the volume/mute the phone on your computer, not the headset or the cord. Mic I question whether or not there's any noise cancelling ability with the mic. With CIPC when changing my voice mailbox message I sounded distant, distorted/garbled and you heard every noise in the background. With Jabber, the voice mail recording was much better but I still had to make sure that there wasn't a lot of background noise. Call quality/Cord Basically good. I did ask people I was speaking with if they could hear me okay as this is a new headset and I wanted to make sure we had a good connection. So far, everyone can hear me just fine. I do a lot of calls so having a hands free headset is a real necessity for me. I only have the ability to use the 3.5 mm jack, and found out quickly that the positioning and movement of the cord did affect the call at times. The cord with the jack is only about 5 feet and no flexibility. The RJ9 cord can stretch well beyond 6 feet, but doesn't work with my set up so I have no idea if the quality is good/bad/ugly. I would have liked the more flexible, longer cord. Because of the restriction with the cord, I only put the headset on for calls. It's important to note, if you are using the 3.5 mm jack, the phone only rings on the headset with a notification flash across your monitor screen. So if you happen to walk away from your desk you may want to check to see if you got any calls. Comfort The head set is comfortable enough. I wear it for 1-2 hours per call and then take it off and on for intermittent use with shorter calls. The top of the headset has no padding. This didn't bother me, but it may be uncomfortable for someone with thinning hair or someone who is bald. I'm hoping over time I will be better at making adjustments to the settings and improve the overall sound and call quality. I am curious to see how durable this headset is with consistent use of 2 to 3 days per week. Overall, it fulfills its intended hands free use with my VOIP when teleworking, with acceptable quality for an inexpensive cost. Update: 2/17/20 As I knew the overall quality of the product was going to drive me nuts, I ordered the Plantronics Black wire C3220 to see if I would like it better than the Cisco headset. So glad I did! I have the wireless plantronics at my office and have used it for several years and have been very happy with that product. This purchase was one I made on my own and didn't want to spend too much. The Plantronics Blackwire wins hands down! Sound, mic, controls on the cord are a win, win, win. Needless to say the Cisco headset is on its way back.

Right choice for me
This headset is made to work with a variety of devices, which is exactly what I need. I can use it on my phone, cell or laptop, making remote meetings easy wherever I am. I didn't need it to be wireless - wasn't worth the expense to me. Wired is fine and this works exactly as I hoped. Good sound and comfortable to wear for long meetings. I would recommend.

Quality & reputable seller - would do business again
Reasonable priced, good quality, but I didn't realize the 2.5 mm was .25-inch plug in. I contacted seller and had no issues getting RMA and returning

Solved My Background Noise Problem
Bought this for doing phone sales at the Pro Desk at The Home Depot. Perfect solution for hands-free calling while obtaining sensitive info in a noisy environment. Whenever I need to call, I just place one earplug in my opposite ear. Works great. Also love that I can leave one of the adapters plugged into my computer to move back and forth between phone and computer with a simple unplug-plug of my headset.

Headset with Noise Cancelling Microphone
The headphones work ok. But after a few month of very intermittent use, the microphone part has come loose and won't stay in place anymore. So instead of the mic sitting in front of my mouth, it's dangling by my chin. Disappointed that it didn't last longer. I contacted Customer Service and are awaiting feedback from them.

NOT noise cancelling
Though this headset was comfortable to wear (if not wearing glasses) it absolutely was not noise cancelling. I had music playing softly approximately 6 feet behind me and was asked to turn it off by a participant on the call because it was distracting. I was also being asked to mute my phone due to a lot of static and buzzing coming from the headset. I could hear others clearly.

Worked perfectly for CISCO work phone - exactly what I needed. Plugged straight in without RJ9 fitting. Crystal clear audio and very decent volume. Love it.

Product was most likely defective. It broke easily with mild use. I contacted the seller requesting for a replacement but there was no response.
