The very best bumper case I've seen. Tried several of the silicon ones that slide over. Those break in less than a year from regular use. This is not that at all. This is a Metal frame that hooks closed. You cannot take it off easily but that's the way it works. It's easy to get used to. But absolutely the best part, is that it truly works with mods, both attaching and removing. You do not have to take the case off at all. Truly worth the money in my opinion.

So I've had the case for 9 months now. It's survived several drops and falls. The bumper fits GREAT, but as with all things it does wear over time. It doesn't have the glove like fit it once did, it is a little loose in the corners and I find myself having to bend it a little on occasion, but it does still fit. I suspect having to take it off regularly doesn't help. That said it works with every mod I've tried. Now for the bad however. While it is very durable and has nice glove like fit it doesn't allow a charging cable to plug in fully. My phone will charge with it on, but the charger doesn't follow seat and thus it doesn't "catch" allowing the plug to easily fall out. Due to this I often find myself removing the case while at home to charge my phone. The only other complaint I have is the bumper does have some sharper edges. While they aren't slice your finger open sharp, some spots can be a little uncomfortable to hold for extended period of time. In summary I definitely would recommend this bumper case. It's durable, had lasted 9+ months, looks really good, and had more than served it's purpose. When I bought this it was the ONLY mod compatible case on the market. Now there are a couple other options, this I have decided to order a different style as a replacement since this one is starting to wear and to compare the two. *If I remember I will come back and add on after trying different bumper case*

I have a moto z4. Item blocks my cell signal, soon as I put it on my bars go completely blank and I cannot make or receive calls, receive texts or send them.

It's ever so slightly misaligned for the charging port, could be slightly lower/ thinner there(keep in mind the comprise of the case readers if thinned out to much) but not much of a problem for me personally. I can hang my phone by it's cord if I'd like to, and swing it slightly it the air by my cord. My signal has not noticable changed at all I get the same results with different phones, and different service providers. The phone case is comfortable to hold, I see a lot of complaints, y'all must have the most delicate hands ever. I own 2 of these now, a red and teal one... I like the teal/emerald green one slightly better, just for color. I rarely drop a phone, but it provides just enough space to lay phone face down on table (with liquid glass or tempered glass screen protector I used both) I also play with the rubber bumpers sometimes, they have yet to come off. I rub the top right corner quite often. I'm a heavy user of my phone as well , so the charging port is a big deal to me, but I've seen little to NO EFFECT, unless I happen to fall asleep with my phone charging, but at that point it might be on my floor as well. This is definitely 4-5 stars to me personally, I purchased two of them. I think the people that left poor reviews are basically hypochondriacs for thire phones. The charging port possibly could be lined up better . Or smooth out the edge from charging port to headphone jack, that reason make me think hard on 4 or 5 stars. It is kinda annoying sometimes, just would be a bit nicer smoother on that part. pictured phone hanging by the cord with Alexa Moto mod, however you cannot hang it by the cord through the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Having used other, rubber bumper cases in the past, I thought I'd give this one a go. The easy snap on is nice and the aluminum feel is cool as are the offered colors. The buttons feel good for in terms of tactile feel and responsiveness. Unfortunately, that is as far as I can go for the positives. The frame fits and really seems to protect just the sides. The screen/face is still a tad exposed, so if you drop your phone, the face will take some damage. Better have a screen protector. The back camera is not protected either. If you lay it on the back, you risk scratching the back side/camera as well. I do like the design, but the cut did not seem to be perfect. I did prefer this over the rubber one that is currently available and did order another one despite the lack of depth/coverage for the front and the back. At least it is better than nothing.

As a case it worked alright. I didn't love it. The problem I have with it is it attenuated my cell service to the point I couldn't even get calls sometimes.

Straight up, I purchased it because I needed to hold my phone together. And since I have a moto mod on the back of my phone I needed to find bumper that would fit perfectly. This is the one. If it's around the phone perfectly the Moto mod has no problem and my phone is staying together. No complaints here.

Fit is great. I do not have the issue that some have with the charger cord not fitting, mine for perfect. Buttons are spot on to the ones on the phone. So far the only issue I have is I can't get the bumper off phone! I unlock, slide to top, and I can't get it off. I've tried sliding the clip down, which is supposedly the lock position, and I can't get it off. Does anyone know how to get the bumper off once you have it on?

Does not interfere with mods. Flimsy construction. Most charging cables will not fit with this case installed. Fingerprint reader is basically useless with this case inatalled.
