Bob Ross - Landscape Brush Set, Oil Based Painting Tools, 12 pieces

A artists is only as good as his tools. Just used these and they’re great. Worth the money. High quality, easy to clean and every brush feels good in the hand and does its job. If only I could paint better but that’s the fun of it. Recommend.

Outstanding paint brushes!

I really like these brushes and palette knives. The handles are very comfortable in your hands and they perform very nicely on the canvas. They seem to be great quality and I think will last for years to come. (There is a warning of not using soap or water on them. Ordorless Brush type cleaners only) Made in Germany for Bob Ross Inc.

We bought these items as a Christmas gift! Will have to wait for the package to be opened ! Merry Christmas 🎄

I am a bit disappointed. The bristle shed and the handles a cracking. I’ve only used the 4 times and noticed the paint chipping and my painting are getting the bristles shedding. I love Bob Ross but I think he’d be disappointed in the quality of how manufactured products.

Over priced

I bought this set so that I could follow along with the Bob Ross series to learn the techniques and in this case using the same tools as Bob Ross is using in his series. Am developing my skills using the knives (see mountains) to create the mottled snow look along with the various fan brushes to create trees and black handled brush to add flowers on trees, etc in the wet on wet techniques I think if I’m going to oil paint scenery “well” it’s essential that I start with the right tools and this group seems to have them all. In the future, I may buy a more expensive Bob Ross boxed kit but for my first painting (since art class in high school 40+ years ago lol) this was perfect and essential to my leaning and developing my skills. Recommend at a minimum everyone buy the Bob Ross paint set (about 12 colors - see my review), Bob Ross liquid white (see my review, the Non-toxic thinner substitute (Eco-Solve - see review) and this tool set of course. Getting the technique down with some of these tools can be a challenge but there are plenty of references online on how to use them for wet on wet techniques and you can even watch the Bob Ross channel online for free using the Pluto App for IPhones or Apple TV. Hope this helps others as I’m moving to my next session. 😀

Excellent brushes but over priced in my opinion

Dazu brauchts einfach die richtigen Werkzeuge, nicht nur Farbe und Inspiration auch die richtigen Pinsel helfen gewaltig dabei. Nur wo kaufen, und jetzt kommt Amazon ins Spiel. Gesehen und gefunden, bestellt und bezahlt und geliefert!! Wunderbar und razfaz geliefert und auch die richtige Qualität und auch der Preis stimmte. Super Service, Danke

This is fantastic, it is almost impossible to get real bristle brushes, if I use paint thinners to clean the ordinary brushes the glue holding them in fails and the bristles fall out. This does not happen with these fantastic brushes. Thank you
