The Pinball Price Guide, Ninth Edition

A very good book to use as starting point, for those who are thinking of buying one pinball machine or starting to collect. Gives a brief history on types of machines, year of manufacture, number manufactured etc. The Approximate values given have to be taken as just that, as values of any collectable are subject to many variable's.

This is a great all around price guide that also includes resource information and also useful information on how to buy, sell, take care of and store pinball games. It includes articles from pinball collectors around the country giving their insight into the hobby of collecting pinball machines. The price guide has a handy rating system that gives three different price class descriptions and allows you to determine by the condition of your game what the value of your pinball machine would be.

Just wished I should have bought this sooner. Great item

I wish the prices in the book was as low as real life. Then I would have more machines. I'm not sure where they pulled out the numbers but they might be trying to drop prices to buy more them selfs. Also a lot of Stern games were priced to high. I'm guessing because there is no amount of machines produced listed any more.

This little price guide has a wealth of information packed between it's front and back covers for the serious pinball machine collector. The feature I like best about the format of this particular guide is that it gives the pinball machine collector three separate values for each machine. Loosely, those three values are a low, middle of the road and near pristine condition value. No other pinball price guide gives the collector a value range to consider when buying or selling a pinball machine. Of course, like it's name, this is only a guide, but for me it's the best pinball price guide on the market.
