I actually have 2 of these and they are great. I purchased 1several years ago, and another last year. I guess this would be considered an entry level watch winder, but I'm really happy with the quality. It has 3 basic functions; on/off, 12 hour delay, and rotation direction. When it's on, the winder operates on a timer, and the rotating mechanism will run for a certain amount of time and then turn itself off to prevent over-winding the watch. I have it on whenever the watch is in there, and it keeps the watch wound with no issues. The winder is extremely quiet and reliable, and can handle most watch sizes and weights. I have 1 timepiece that I only wear for special occasions. It's a large (48mm), heavy chronograph. It's in the winder for months at a time, with the winder always in the 'on' position. It keeps the watch wound whenever I decide to wear it, and has been problem free for the last several years. I use the other winder for my daily work watch. I can put the watch in before bed, turn on the winder, and have a full power reserve by morning. The outside material seems to be an imitation leather, but it doesn't look overly cheap. I have not had any issues with the material ripping or coming loose. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a well-built, no-frills winder.

This is my first winder. Did a ton of research and hands down the Wolf Design had all the positives I was looking for. It arrived in a very tasteful presentation. The winder was in a felt bag with the Wolf logo printed on it. Directions were easy to follow. I cannot attest to the durability as of yet but I will repost if any issues arise. It is completely silent while in operation. You could put it right next to your bed and not hear a whisper. You can see the attention to detail in the quality of the winder housing construction and cover workmanship. Metal parts, clasp, knobs and hinges. Beautiful to look at. The winder is turning a very heavy automatic and the bracelet just clears the sides of the tube. This is one of the features important to me that these are designed to wind heavier watches. Plus, using batteries makes locating it in my closet just perfect.

Use almost daily. After 5 years, still runs quietly and looks like new. Worth the extra money, will buy another when the time comes!

I bought this watch winder before I purchased my first Omega automatic watch. I was quite new to the world of watches and I thought this one would be better than most. I was wrong and right. Wolf is the best value for the money when it comes to watch winders, but this model is more than useless for almost all premium watches. The reason is simple - no way to set the number of rotations, beyond 900 unidirectional and 1800 bi-directional. This is far more than Omega recommends for the majority of their watches, which max out at 720 rotations (bi-directional) a day. This watch winder's setting is over 2.5 times the recommended, which according to Omega, leads to a watch not being wound correctly, damage to the internal winding spring and mechanisms. My personal experience is that this winder doesn't wind high-end Omega watches well at all. I used this with my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean with 8906 caliber, and my Seamaster with 8800 caliber movement, only to find that their reserve power was around half of what what it should have been (normally 60 hours with 8906, and 56 hours with 8800). I thought I would experiment with this winder while I was learning about winders in general, and since I already had it. In the meantime, I had bought both of my new Omega watches within a couple weeks of each other and I was waiting for my Wolf Viceroy winders to come in. I was able to set the new Viceroy winders to 350 bi-directional rotations per day, and I quickly discovered that both watches were performing up to specs, with normal reserve times and both were keeping excellent time. I recently purchased an automatic watch that only wound in a clockwise direction, I have a few others that wound rotated in both directions and use cheaper winders to keep them wound, As my new watch was not exactly cheap and winder requirements were specified I took the plunge in this purchase. This is undoubtedly a quality winding instrument. The watch sits vertically in the box so maximises the movement of the watches winding weight, It can be set to clockwise, counter clockwise or bidirectional. It even has a 12 hour wait before winding starts that is useful after an energetic day when the watch may well be fully wound. The watch holder is flexible enough to adapt to different sizes and uses the outer collar of the watch holder to clip into the rotating barrel. All very simple but very well executed. I purchased this brand having owned a twin turntable non adjustable version for other bidirectional winding watches that uses a similar vertical winding barrel system. In summary it does the job intends very well.

Looks authentic

Great product! Wonderful packaging, easy to setup and started to make use of it immediately. We have been using it for several weeks now without any issues. It is a relatively pricey item but worth the spend given the quality of the product and the fact that you want the assurance your most priced watch possessions are being properly wound. We would definitely buy from them again.
